Had an amazing experience with Nandor! He was extremely knowledgeable, friendly and ensured the day was full of adventure and fun! Would highly recommend and will definitely use again for my next trip!

I’m a solo traveler and I wanted to do hikes in Hawaii that requires someone experienced and knowledgable about the trails I wanted to hike in and since I am a woman, I needed someone safe and professional as I was traveling by myself. I came across Nandor and let me tell you, he is the best guide you’ll ever have. I booked 4 days of customized tours with him and it was more than what I expected. He is super flexible as well which I really loved. He also will give you information about your hike, takes awesome pics and videos and just all around fun to be around with. Already have plans for future trips on a different island and can’t wait to book him again.

I have been on many hikes with Nandor/Hungaro Explorer in Hawaii, Spain and Romania! Every time has been amazing. From easy to advanced he can be trusted to guide you through some amazing terrain. I highly recommend Hungary for group or private tour. I have done a 3 day private tour in Maui, 5 days in Spain, 5 days in Romania and many single days on Oahu. What ever your hiking desire he will be able to help you organize it and exceed what you imagine is possible.

I am an experienced hiker, but given the recent storm, I was a bit apprehensive about hiking the Olamana (3 Peaks) Trail. But I felt completely comfortable and safe with Nandor. He was well prepared, professional, and clearly motivated towards my safety and providing me the best experience. He has an excellent personality, and many interesting stories. He also has a very good eye behind the camera. Overall, one of the best guides I have ever hired. Highly recommend!

I did my first ever international hiking trip with Hungaro Explorer and team. First time in Picos de Europa and Spain! From the onset of the tour, Nandor and team were very professional and knowledgeable. They took care of all details of the 6 days trip. We were picked up from our Airbnb and drove for about four hours to our first adventure. With some changes in weather, Hungaro Explorer made sure that we got the extra clothing we needed for the rest of the tour. We stayed in different hotels and a really nice traditional house. Besides the amazing hiking routes, we also enjoyed walking around different charming Mountain towns, ate traditional food, tried the local drinks and enjoyed the company of the tour members as friends. I can tell, there was a lot of research and planning to make the tour successful and it was!! Highly recommend Hungaro Explorer and his wife Elena for your next Mountain adventures!!! We spent two days hiking with Nandor in the mountains of Oahu and he is a very professional and experienced guide. We enjoyed the conversation and interesting facts that he shared about his hiking experiences as well as the local flora/fauna, and he took all kinds of photos for us! We highly recommend Hungaro Explorer for every level of hiker.
