Telephone support was good
Telephone support was good. But, we signed up and are paying a lot for the improved 3 credit bureau support, and still see only Experien showing up as being monitored.

There are several issues where ID Shield falls short
There are several issues where ID Shield Lacks the ability to follow through. Dark web monitoring falls short in the ability to identify which site and password has been accessed and breached. This is not helpful in resolving the issue. I called and inquired about this and received the age old adage… “ we’re working on it… sorry.” I got severely hacked into back in June and ALL of my ID got stolen. So, ‘we’re working on it… sorry “ ain’t cutting it.

Experience okay until my account was lost
The company has helped me the times that I needed them in the past to be sure I didn’t have a problem. However, I found out recently that while still taking my payment my entire account had been removed and was not being monitored, but my spouse’s information was still being monitored. I don’t know how long my account had been removed and not monitored before I discovered the problem and had it restored.

Timeliness is important

Not the best choice
Signing up was easy, but then the flurry of emails and need to download an app and pay an additional monthly fee for it, and some confusion about how to get the various protections launched have left me disillusioned.

IDShield is a monthly identity theft subscription service. In order to use the service, members must either download our app or log in to our online portal at https://login.legalshield.com/. There are no additional fees. Once you have logged in online or via our app, members must enter the personal information they want to monitor for fraud and identity theft. If there are items found online that you need to address, you will receive a notification from IDShield. If you have further questions or need assistance setting up your account, our Member Service Team is happy to help. You can reach them at (888)-494-8519 between 7-7 CST Monday-Friday. Necessary to have but confusing to understand.
I think in today's world of identity theft it is good to have a service of this sort. However, it's not the easiest to understand when a piece of identity is compromised, specifically what to do in each situation noted. I have had to call the number provided to get a more clear explanation. And sometimes still not very clear.

ID Shield warned me my Information was on the dark web.
ID Shield warned me my information was on the dark web and advised me to change passwords and freeze my credit. I guess I thought they would do more. Hopefully, if something does happen, they will fix it.
