We used Ingenius Prep. We interviewed many many companies and thought we had chosen the right one. Clearly we were wrong. The counselors have been extremely inattentive, I don’t feel like they are invested in our daughter at all. They just assign a bunch of videos and haven’t checked in with her at all. I’ve tried to reach out to other people in the company to express our dismay, but nobody gets back to us. There’s literally no way to get a hold of anybody other than emails which they ignore. Save yourself some money and do not go with this company

The writing coach was fabulous. She very extremely helpful and attentive. The FAO did not impress us. He did not look at submissions in a timely fashion. It did not feel as if he was vested in my son's process. We were quite disappointed.

InGenius has helped me immensely through the college application process. Their guidance and direct involvement have been instrumental to my success, culminating in my acceptance to Duke University Early Decision. In terms of materials, InGenius provides a plethora of application counseling resources. For instance, over the summer, they led personal statement workshops through Zoom meetings every week and accompanied them with interactive packets, showcasing the dos and don'ts of writing a good essay. Futhermore, they have resources on how to ask for letters of recommendation, craft your activities list, brainstorm supplementals, etc. In addition to these materials, they provide two advisors to guide you through your application: A formal admission officer of your choice, and a graduation coach. Having two different people give advice was very unique but crucial to creating and editing essays. Both of mine were very involved, responded instantly, and provided amazing feedback on my rough drafts, and information on the colleges I applied for. Overall, the application counseling portion that InGenius Prep offers is a 5/5. It's a bit pricey but if you put in the effort, InGenius’s resources will help you succeed. I fully recommend using their application counseling service, starting in June, and I'm really pleased with them. Thanks!

IP worked with my son to find the right GC/FAO fit. The ultimate team's assistance with a game plan and, more importantly, with the final applications, was extremely helpful. Their brainstorming and critiquing assistance was terrific -- they made sure that my son dug deep for all elements of each application and encouraged him to reveal as many aspects of himself as possible. We were very grateful for their accommodation with schedules and willingness and ability to give key feedback promptly. They were both extremely kind and supportive throughout the process, resourcing information on colleges from within IP when it was additive and arranging for interview practice.
