I was in the process of having my wages garnished because of owing back taxes and there was no way I could afford for that to happen. I called Instant Tax Solutions and they were able to work with the IRS and get an offer in compromise for $500! I can only imagine the stories that Instant Tax Solutions hears on a daily basis. Why people are broke and can't afford to pay taxes or the company ITS who can help them fix their problems. The Global Financial Crisis created an abundance of people faced with decisions that they never thought they would have to make... Decisions like "Should I pay my taxes, or buy food for my family?" While the answer is obvious, so is the eventual result. ITS helps people solve their tax problems. Period. When my net worth went from 7 figures to 4 figures in 18 months, it still left me with huge tax liabilities. ITS helped me save tens of thousands of dollars in fines and penalties, and then, after the gov't settled with me, they set up a payment plan to help me pay them AND Uncle Sam over time. Well, 3 years later, I've gotten them paid off. But I will miss them. They are not stone-faced-number-crunchers, hell-bent on getting money out of you. They are kind, compassionate, thoughtful, and occasionally humorous people, just trying to help the rest of us navigate a situation that we are terrified of. Teresa, Shane, and a few others that I've had dealings with, were all fabulous. That includes a senior level manager in the company who processed my claim and got the IRS off my back when I had no money to pay them that month.
