Our startup has been using Intercom for the past 2 years and it's been a very helpful product. We integrate it with Slack to get live notifications about signups. We haven't tested the most recent features yet but we're excited about the new "product tours" feature.

It’s the greatest service out there for engaging with your customers, managing your campaigns and more. But what we like most about Intercom is their best practices for various areas of your business such as how to greet your customers, when to and not to send such emails, their examples etc and their customer support. Talking with Intercom’s customer support representatives is the number 1 reason our business grown today. Because just by talking with their team, we’ve learnt a lot about how to talk with our customers too. If you’re starting a business and don’t know how to talk with your customers, just have a chat with Intercom’s customer support and you’ll learn a lot just by talking to them. 😄 And they’re also the proof of how important it is to use Emojis in your conversations. Use them a lot when talking to your customers and you’ll see the difference!

I love the tool. But it’s very complicated to know where to start and how to know which features to use. Difficult to unpack and have to seek help bot. Would be grateful for opp to talk with someone who can onboard us and advise what is best options for our industry and business model. Kate

Overall a great experience and a wonderful tool for team collaboration (especially for a small CS team). Would be great if the search could be more flexible and you could search for customers by their email (at the moment it only recognised the full name); ability to edit sent messages or even 'undo'/delete.

Intercom makes us able to manage our SaaS business (restdb.io) with a minimum of resources. It connects us much closer to our customers and provides valuable customer intelligence. Couldn't manage without it!

Great customer service and relatively easy to use platform. Just wish there was a little more flexibility and fluidity with gathering data and contact info and setting up campaigns. Something like MailChimp (or equivalent, but we use MC) integration would be awesome. IDK, maybe that exists and I just haven't seen it.

I have used Intercom on my site since it's exception and it is by far one of the most important tools in terms of allowing the site to grow and allow me to keep offering excellent customer service. The A/B testing and the flexibility in message delivery is especially helpful.
