I just ate a store #4613. What a terrible experience. The sandwich was burnt. It was so hard i could not eat it. When i asked the person behind the counter about it his reply was that they were all toasted sandwiches. He was very rude and not friendly at all. I basically paid $33 with a tip for a bag of chips and a small coke. I will never eat at a Jimmy Johns again. Terrible customer service and very poor food. I am currently contesting my payment.

I am a rewards member on JJ App. Love the food and always great. However I did an online order for pickup and this is what happened. They stand the bags on end and I ordered a sub that was loaded this oil and vinegar. One end of my bread was soggy with all that running to the end. Possible laying the bags flat would solve this problem.

Excellent community partner! Jimmy John’s generously donated subs for our National Night Out at ROAR FLORIDA, helping us create a fun and memorable evening for our residents. The food was a huge hit, and we truly appreciate their willingness to support our community. Thank you, Jimmy John’s, for being a great neighbor and giving back to the people you serve. We are grateful for your generosity!

First off I just want to say and I am the first to do it by making negative reviews when I am angry at the service or getting treated rudely. But today is a brand new day. So my granddaughter and I were heading over to Sioux City IA to go to the Dairy Queen. We have to go by Jimmy Johns and I said Maybe we should go to Jimmy Johns first then the Dairy Queen for ice cream and she was all excited. Except I looked at the time and it was 9:00 pm. My granddaughter looked at her phone and said it was 8:58. So we rushed there and got to the drive thru menu board and I told her that I know they are closed I shouldn't even be going thru the drive through. I pulled up and a guy came asked if he could help us. I asked first and said aren't you guy's closed? He said well...what is it that you want and we will see if we can make it. I told him a turkey with cheese and mayo and a roast beef with cheese and mayo. Oh and a coke. His headset lost power and a lady came on and asked for the order again. We gave it to her and she said to pull ahead. Seriously, by this time it was 9:10 and we pulled up to the window and of course they were all cleaned up and ready to go and I apologized and told her she didn't have to take our order and she said it was not a problem. I really felt bad that they stayed and made sandwiches for us and acted like it was not a big deal. This was the South Sioux City Ne Jimmy Johns. I would just like to say thank you to them and it was great to see a smile on my granddaughters face.

Subject: Complaint Regarding Tip Requests on Pickup Orders and Poor Service I want to express my frustration with Jimmy John’s policy of asking customers to leave a tip when placing a pickup order through the app. I am already paying what I consider to be a high price for the sandwiches, and in the case of a pickup order, I am also driving to the restaurant myself to pick up the food. I’m not sure what exactly I’m being asked to tip for. I’m not receiving delivery, table service, or any additional service that would traditionally warrant a tip. I recently placed a pickup order and chose not to leave a tip. Unfortunately, the service I received afterward did nothing to change my opinion. I specifically requested that all three sandwiches be cut in half, one have no tomatoes, one have extra oil, and that napkins be included. None of those requests were fulfilled. That is especially frustrating because these are simple order instructions that should have been followed regardless of whether a customer leaves a tip. I understand that employees work hard, and I have no problem tipping when I receive service that warrants it. However, I strongly disagree with being prompted to subsidize employee wages through a tip for a basic pickup transaction. It is not the customer's responsibility to pay your employees' wages. If the cost of providing the service requires higher prices, then raise the price of the food accordingly and be transparent about it. As things currently stand, I will not be ordering from Jimmy John’s again unless the tip request for pickup orders is removed. I should be able to place and pay for a pickup order without being pressured to leave an additional tip—and I should receive the order exactly as I requested regardless of whether I choose to tip. I hope you will seriously reconsider this policy and address the lack of attention to customer order instructions.
