In addition, to help ensure that items arrive at our warehouse within the 30‑day window, customers are advised to initiate the return and ship the items back promptly after purchase. While many customers aim to start the return within 14 days of purchase, this timeline is recommended only as a guideline — depending on the customer’s location and shipping method, it may take longer or shorter for the item to reach our warehouse. The key requirement is that the item must be received by our warehouse within 30 days of the order date to be eligible for a return. We know this differs from some retailers that count returns from the date of delivery, but counting from the order date allows us to consistently manage returns fairly for all customers and helps ensure returned items are received in excellent condition. We’re very sorry to hear about your experience with the boots. Based on the pictures you sent us, it’s very noticeable that the item was worn out, showing visible signs of fabric stress, ripping, and tearing. The boots have a textured chiffon upper, which is a very delicate, open-weave material resembling a fine net. Because of the fabric, the product page clearly states that these boots should only be cleaned by wiping. We understand that the boots were only worn a few times; however, even light use can affect the condition of this delicate fabric. Factors such as moisture, the surfaces walked on, and how the boots were handled all contribute to wear, which in this case caused the damage visible in the photos. Additionally, this order is already beyond the 30-day return policy, and as outlined on our website, damaged or defective items upon delivery should be reported within 14 days from the date of purchase. As stated in our return policy, Joyfolie does not accept returns for merchandise that has been damaged due to washing attempts or normal wear and tear. We truly appreciate your feedback and will continue working to make care instructions as clear as possible to help prevent similar issues in the future.
