Ka'ChavaReviews of kachava.com

For the price I expected the product to be decent, it absolutely is not. I purchased the chocolate, vanilla and received the sample pack and not one of them are something I would purchase again, even at a 50% discount. In order to choke it down I have to add fruit, peanut butter, or anything else on-hand. Also if you cancel your subscription but receive a shipment, they will not take it back for a refund even if the delivery box was unopened. Save your money, even if the cost was 50% less I would not purchase this again. I would stick to keto chow or even a Walmart brand is better.

My wife wanted to try this product. So I signed up for the subscription order. Although she was using it at the beginning, I soon realized over the course of a year and a half that we had accumulated nine bags of this eventually sitting on our counter. All unopened. So we canceled the subscription once we realize that she was no longer interested in using it. Never really did much for her. The problem came with the cancellation process. I went to their website and canceled our subscription. The following month, not realizing I had received an email a couple of days later I ended up receiving another package and our account was charged as a result. I called the company and canceled via an actual person through the company explaining to them that I had already canceled through their website. They would not take the package back and I would not get a refund as a result. This time 2 full months went by When we again received another package and our account was charged this time with no email. I immediately called them up again and spoke to customer service explaining that I have already canceled this account twice and that their company had just sent me another order charging my account yet again. Again for the second time through their customer service, I was confirmed with the cancellation. Two months later, the same thing! I called and spoke to the customer service for a third time within that six month window canceling my subscription again, and again being told my subscription was canceled and sorry for the inconvenience. Again my account was charged the $67 for another package! No refund no taking it back. That was three separate phone calls, and via their website for a total of four cancellations of my subscription four charges of $67 each! At that point it was a total of $270 taken out of my account for product that I had already canceled four times! We thought at that point we were good, finally! That was until 14 months later! When just this week, again I was sent an email out of the Blue this time for some stupid reason they had my name utilizing my email ID from a different email that I never had during their subscription, followed by my last name with the caption, “welcome back“. I immediately checked my bank account and again I was charged $67 and change for another one of their bags of product! I was pissed! I called the company immediately and explained that I had already canceled this account four different times! And at that point I was unaware of the last time I received their product, but I knew it was at least a year. The woman from customer service then explain to me that my account Has no mention or notes pertaining to our subscription. “EVER” being canceled! And that supposedly “I” had not canceled my subscription but rather, I had postponed it from April 2024 till June 2025. I was floored! I questioned why the hell would I have postponed a delivery for 14 months??? Especially after throwing nine full bags in the trash, followed by the following four bags that were sent to me after the previous four cancellations?!?! And how I most certainly spoke to their customer service on three different occasions attempting to cancel my subscription each time when the original cancellation through their website didn’t work. Each time more pissed than the time before because I just lost another $70 each time! I went over and started doing searches for customer complaints against this company, and I have found countless mentions of people stating the exact same situation where they end up canceling multiple times and the company continues the send product, oblivious of the cancellation and charging your account! My advice, “ DON’T GET INVOLVED WITH THIS COMPANY!” The product never did anything for my wife when she was using it, which is why she slowed and then eventually just stopped. Subsequently this time, I have notified my bank of their shady practices and have gotten them taken off of the auto pay that I had originally signed up with that subscription…

Could you please provide more insight into the ingredients and sourcing of the "Natural Vanilla Flavors"? It would be greatly appreciated to have this information Thank you

Company refused to refund money or accept a return for unopened package which was on automatic shipment. I would give it a zero if I could for customer service.

While I do like the chocolate my issue is with being charged twice for the same product. The company wants me to take time out of my schedule to return a product that they erroneously sent out. This experience has completely soured me on the company and I wont be ordering from them again.

I like the vanilla shakes. The customer service is AWFUL. Tried to set up a subscription and kept being told that there was something wrong with my credit card…there isn’t. Although after reading these reviews I see I dodged a bullet. My interactions with customer service were unprofessional and unhelpful. Avoid this company!

Complicated cancellation policy - terrible product that would not cancel despite completing the process online - DO NOT BUY

Condescending customer service and manipulative practices! I tried Ka’Chava based on the hype, and it’s been a frustrating ride from start to finish. The product doesn’t live up to the price—grainy, artificial-tasting, and not filling. But the bigger issue is how the company treats its customers. I attempted to cancel an order that processed early in the morning. Their response? “Too late.” The item hadn’t even shipped yet. I received a templated email filled with insincere “apologies” and policy copy-paste—no real help, no accountability, no effort to listen. Worse yet, their so-called reminder email was conveniently filtered to spam, the only Ka’Chava message that ever went there. And they hid behind that as a reason not to act. Condescending tone, rigid system, no resolution. You’ll get better nutrition and better ethics elsewhere.
