Kathleen’s is not only a staple of the town of Beaver, but to all of Beaver County and you really need to stop in to see what’s new!Kathleen started the shop in Beaver Falls a mere 37 years ago. The store had a short stop in Bridgewater before finally landing on the main street of Beaver.Visitors to Kathleen's know about quality products that stock the store shelves. From home decor to gifts, to local beeswax candles and jams and jellies, the everything to tickle your fancy.On April 1, 2016 a new “Kathleen” took the reins. The former owner decided it was time to retire so she chose a new face to carry on her legacy. Hello! I'm Jody McKay and my sidekick and partner-in-crime is Steve. We are the new faces of Kathleen's. Stop in and take a stroll through the shop, or sit and chat for awhile about all the new and wonderful things we are doing here.The shop covers multiple styles: country decor, Victorian and modern decor, and even a little French cottage, and farmhouse. Steve spends time in the wood shop making items for our DIY workshops and repairing pieces I insist on repainting with our unique line of Debi's DIY Clay Based Chalk Paints. My friend and I came to make the purse planter. Jody was amazing as always and spent 4 hours with us perfecting our pieces. She always shares helpful tips that you can take away to use on other projects. Jody is always welcoming and wants to share her knowledge.

I was delighted to pick up a custom made wood picture frame. Jodi and Steve crafted a heart-shaped opening to beautifully accommodate a friend's favorite picture. The cherry wood is expertly finished and will be a gift my friend will love!

The owner and workers were very helpful. I was trying to find a gift for my mother's birthday but could not pick it up because I am stationed out of state. They took the time to help me choose the right gift and customize it for my mom. Additionally, once the item was ready they personally delivered it for me. The best customer service I have dealt with in a long time!

Kathleen’s is a great store for craft painters. The salesperson was very attentive and told me about sale items. I enjoyed looking at their painted furniture pieces in the store, and got some good ideas.

Jody has refinished a desk and bench for me.The two items had chips and cracks on the wood. They were in need of complete refinishing.My desk and bench now look like I took them out of a showroom. Jody assisted me in applying decals. Her attention to detail is outstanding. I love my renewed furniture. I would recommend Kathaleen’s on 3rd for classes, decorating items and her creative skills.
