Predatory Company with Unjust Policies and Procedures I have 3 separate student loans through LendKey, and I have had difficulties with them from the beginning. First, they did not want to approve me without a cosigner despite my providing supporting documentation of my income (I suppose this should have been my first red flag). Now, in my repayment period it's gotten even worse. I have only been able to secure part time employment since graduating and am unable to make full payments. I have applied for forbearance 3 separate times, only to be denied despite more than enough supporting evidence. They make everything so complicated that I'm sure most people give in or give up. I can't believe that Navy Federal has partnered with a company that has such unjust practices. I regret ever taking a single cent from these people, and I tell everyone to stay away.

Absolutely waste of my time. I submitted legitimate documentation of everything and they kept denying each piece of submission. then one rep said I can upload an expired id since I am waiting for my id to come in the mail from the state. after almost 2 weeks of applying to the loan I end up calling again and then i get told they deny my application altogether when I am a contract employee. I am trying to refinance a student loan of $6,000. The original is amount is $8,500. I made some payments on it through sallie mae over the years. i got denied by Lendkey because I am a contract employee. I make $1,400 after taxes every single week because I get paid hourly. after submitting so much personal and confidential information on their website it took me having to call just so they can tell me i was denied. LENDKEY IF YOU ARE NOT GOING TO ACCEPT CONTRACT EMPLOYMENT AS "REAL" EMPLOYMENT THEN STATE THAT ON YOUR WEBSITE. DON'T WASTE PEOPLES TIME. I CAN EASILY MAKE THE PAYMENTS MAKING $1,400 every week. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND LENDKEY TO ANYONE.

I asked Lendkey change my due date which they did. I was given an effective due date only to have them change it online after the fact making it impossible for me to pay it without late fees. When I called and explained that they had made the mistake and that it wasn't fair to me, they said there's nothing we can do about it you just have to pay it or get late fees. I 100% regret refinancing my student loans with lendkey. Why am I being punished for a mistake that they made when they gave out false information

I am the cosigner for my daughters loan. I have a regular income (employee) and submitted the W2's (had 2 different jobs last year). Have another income and submitted the 1099 (side consulting job). My regular income alone would have addressed the requirement for the loan but now they need 3 years of detailed tax returns. Sounds like they are data mining personal information.

The loan I requested was not given. I had asked for an overpayment to be able to pay off other bills but this could not be done. Very disappointed as in the past refinancing I was able to have this done.

Very poor communication. No one is on the same page

Seems like a scam to me. I had to contact LendKey 5 different times to resolve problems on my application. Each time a new representative told me something new to submit. After submitting all the documents they requested, I was still not approved and called and emailed LendKey to discover why, after sending them all my information, I was still not approved. No email or phone representative attempted to explain why this was happening or try to assist me. Instead, they just canceled my application altogether. Not willing to work with their customers.

The most disappointing customer service experience of my life. I have an existing loan with them and am trying to refinance. Both representatives lacked interest, knowledge and came off as unconcerned. They were of no help whatsoever. I could not get a straight answer. Totally disgusted. Clearly, they are overpaid and there must be a very short list for their jobs. Later Lendkey!
