I have peace of mind.its like having someone there with your loved one,when you cant be there 24/7/365.My mom also knows all she has to do is push the button for help.

A medical alert is something everyone should have if they live alone. It's comforting to know that someone is there to answer your plea in case of need. The only negative I have is the response time is much too long. I have timed a response to take 45 seconds to 1 min. That's too long. It should be almost immediate.

Thank you for the review Angelina. While we strive to have an immediate response every time the button is pressed, it is not something that we can guarantee 100% of the time. This is because we need to take each button press seriously, and so the monitoring specialists take the time that they need in order to ensure that each customer is safe before they continue to the next call. There are only so many specialists to care for our thousands of customers, so while it is unfortunate, we can not say with 100% certainly that every button press will be answered immediately.

The system works, no doubt about it. However, the battery on my father-in-laws wrist band is low, making the base sound an alarm. I called Life Station, and they told me how to stop the alarm and a replacement battery would be sent. About a month later, they called to see how the new battery was working. I told them I had not received it. They verified our address, and their records showed it had been mailed approx. 3 days after calling in. They said another one would be put in the mail. It's been about another month, and I still have not received it.

WE LIKE LIFESTATION. IT'S EASY TO SET UP. THE AGENTS ARE THERE TO HELP IF NEEDED. WE HAVE THE WIRELESS UNIT SO IT'S EASY TO TAKE ANYWHERE IF SHE IS AWAY FROM HOME FOR AN EXTENDED PERIOD OF TIME. YOU CAN SET UP WHO THE AGENTS SHOULD CALL 1ST, 2ND & 3RD. IT'S EXACTLY WHAT WE WANTED. THANK YOU.
