I have used them a few times and it was good. I recently purchased a higher priced item and when I reached out for help, I did get answered quickly but I accidently sent a picture of the wrong box and everything stopped completely. Even after I noticed what I did I tried to reach out again but they still kind of blew me off. I never got any help for my sick plant and now i have a $130 cutting I hope I can propagate.

We bought a Thai monstera and just couldn’t believe how large and healthy it was when it arrived. It was beautifully packaged and honestly worth every penny. We are thinking about ordering another one.

My order was a gift that I had accidently sent to my address rather than the shipping address. I immediately emailed and messaged that there was a mistake and needed to change my address before the package went out. Outside of the fact that no on works on the weekend, and you can never get a gold of a person, the communication is either passive aggressive bs or nonexistent. I highly recommend saving yourself the money and time, and redirecting your attention elsewhere. I'm sure pretty much anywhere else is better.

Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback! Since this time, we have increased our phone hours and chat hours. Unfortunately we don't have the resources to always staff someone on weekends, but we typically do during our peak seasons. We are also looking into ways for customers to update any address errors on their own after placing an order, assuming it's not too far along the Operations Process.

The plant I ordered arrived in HORRIBLE shape. Plus, the container I paid extra for did not come with it. I contacted the company but I am still waiting for them to make it right. I will NEVER order from them again. I was ripped off so BUYER BEWARE!!

To summarize, we sent you a response to your email on August 7th and that email bounced back. We sent you a screenshot that shows this and we apologize that there was no notification to the agent that their email did not arrive to you. Per his prior responses in working with you, we had and have every intention of making things right. Regarding the missing container, I sent you a copy of your order confirmation email and there was no upgraded container/pot added to your order or paid for. We are happy to provide you a free one with your replacement. Please respond to the direct email I sent you just a short time ago and we will get this resolved immediately. Thank you!

I ordered an Anthurium a ahouse warming gift for a friend and it came very damaged. I tried to contact the company and I didn't get any results. The plant is in poor condition as a result. I am very upset over this, it wasn't a cheap gift. Phyllis L Kruszynski It was sometime in May

Perhaps this is the way to get a response from the company. Initially, after I placed an order, I realized I had not seen a place to include a gift card. I waited for my promised confirmation email, which never came. I have sent Lively Roots four messages over four days. I am now in the process of trying to cancel my order - if indeed I have one.

Our system is set up to send order confirmation emails for every order placed and we respond to all email submissions within 2 business days, so this is certainly not normal and is unacceptable. I would love to look into your specific situation. Please respond to our request for informations so we can further look into this and make things right.

EDITED: Updated to increase the stars to 3. Received a refund and finally spoke to a person who wasn’t rude and condescending, and actually worked to understand the situation instead of accusing me of not reading the fine print to study their complicated shipping policies/times. This person also changed their Yelp name back to Lively Root. Someone higher up seems to care about their reputation but the first line customer service employees absolutely do not. Original review: Ordered a plant to be delivered for Father’s Day for $33 overnight shipping. The website said it would arrive on Father’s Day or the day after. Two days after Father’s Day the plant finally shipped and doesn’t arrive for 6 days after purchase. Lively Root claims I didnt read the fine print which included their 2 day handling times, which I didn’t see anywhere on the checkout page at all, but plainly saw the dates their website said the plant would be delivered in red print. So they charged overnight shipping costs to ship my item for it to arrive a week later. I also left a Yelp review and the next day they had changed the name from Lively Root to something else. It feels like a very shady company.
