Reply from Live Your Message with Marisa MurgatroydOct 22, 2025
The poster enrolled in a 12-month program with Live Your Message on March 15th, 2025. She paid in full and received a sizable discount for this option. At this point, she was assigned a coach who charges the company per student per month. This was the 2nd multi-month program that she engaged with us.
For Momentum, she was required to review and sign the Terms and Conditions. The following verbiage appears in both the online form and the PDF sent to her upon signature.
Furthermore, you agree that you are responsible for full payment of all Program fees for the entire 12-month course of the Program, regardless of whether you actually attend or complete the Program, and regardless of whether you have selected a lump sum or payment plan. To further clarify, no refunds will be issued, and all monthly payments must be paid on a timely basis
This appears to be less than 10% of the way through this contract and is not buried, as insinuated. Furthermore, the 6th paragraph overtly states
By agreeing to these Momentum Terms and Conditions of Purchase & Success Guarantee Agreement (the “Agreement”), you agree that this automatically becomes a binding contract between you and Live Your Message (the “Company” or “we/us”), and applies to your participation in Momentum Activate (the “Program”). You're acknowledging that you have read, agree to, and accept all of the terms and conditions contained in this Agreement.
Hence, the onus of responsibility lies with the student. She agreed by first enrolling and then by signing this contract, thereby entering into a binding agreement with Live Your Message.
She states in her complaint, “To date, I have not received a single coaching session, service, or tangible value, meaning the company is retaining $15,000 while delivering nothing”.
These services were offered and available, but the student CHOSE not to attend. Again, the responsibility for not using these services is on the student. We offered several pauses to gain enough personal traction to rejoin the program. However, again, she decided not to accept this option.
She paints the picture that they were not willing to work with her around her withdrawal request. This is not true as we sent dozens of emails, spent extensive time on the phone, and offered a six-month pause to accommodate her personal issue.
Lastly, the reason for withdrawing from the program was not a medical excuse but a relational one. As she enrolled on March 15th and asked to withdraw on April 10th, we assume that this issue did not originate during these three weeks. Hence, she enrolled with personal KNOWLEDGE that this issue existed. There is a significant cost to the company for enrollment, system setup, staff assignment, and other fulfillment expenses per student. We assume that our students can be responsible for their own decision making, and to verify this requires them to review and sign a document to ensure that.
We regret that the poster is having remorse for her decision and personal life. However, we maintain that she willingly and knowingly signed a binding contract and therefore should not be entitled to a refund as requested.
