Hi Johnny,
I’m sorry to see how much hurt and frustration you’re experiencing. I know firsthand how much pain can come from a relationship ending, and it's never easy when things don't work out as you had hoped.
My intention with The Conflict Cure is always to help, and I take every bit of feedback to heart.
Because this is public, I want to clarify a few important facts for anyone reading:
When you purchased the course, you agreed to our refund policy, which states that a full refund is available if you (1) complete all the course material as designed, and (2) submit the written exercises fully completed within 60 days.
You asked for a refund becasue your marriage ended. My team guided you step-by-step on how to qualify. When your coursework was submitted, I personally reviewed it.
Unfortunately, we found more than 50 workbook fields left blank, and your Module 2 workbook was missing.
For these (and other) reasons, your refund didn’t meet the clear policy you agreed to.
Even so, my team responded to your upset emails with kindness, clarity, and offers of additional support. They bent over backwards to try to accommodate you, including offering the option to retake the course for free.
After your refund was declined, you filed a chargeback with your bank, stating that the course was “unacceptable” even though you gave us feedback that the course was educational for you.
While I empathize deeply with your marriage ending, our guarantee that things will turn out between you. No course can make such a promise. Sometimes, a marriage has been damaged beyond the point of repair.
Now, eight months after you first approached the course, leaving a one-star review on Trustpilot feels less like honest feedback and more like an attempt to punish us because things didn’t turn out the way you hoped.
I understand that when we’re hurting, we sometimes look for someone to blame.
But as a business owner, my responsibility is to keep the promises I make to every participant - fairly, compassionately, and with integrity for those who put in the work, while also protecting our small team from abuse.
If any future customer is reading this and has questions about our policies or approach, I’m happy to answer any questions or concerns transparently. We work hard to act with empathy and fairness, even in difficult situations like this.
I truly wish you healing and peace as you move forward.
Wishing you the best,
Bruce
