Kristy,
We’re disappointed to see the tournament described this way, especially across multiple public posts, because this was reviewed thoroughly and it was not fraudulent.
In plain terms, there was a mismatch between some of the games shown in our marketing / social media and the games in the original tournament setup. We appreciate you pointing that out.
We would also like to clarify your comment that we asked you “not to say anything” to other players.
After reviewing the conversation, you specifically asked whether you should inform other players of the issue. In response, our team replied that you may hold off while the investigation was ongoing, as we had not yet determined the full scope of the issue or how affected players would be credited.
This was not an attempt to conceal information, but rather to avoid confusion while the matter was being reviewed. Additionally, official tournament communications should come directly from Lucky Hands to ensure players receive accurate and consistent information.
Once reviewed, we awarded prizes based on both lists: the official tournament games and the games players may have played because of the marketing. So any player who placed based on the games shown in the marketing received the prize they would have earned under that version of the tournament and we directly informed affected players.
No original winners had prizes taken away. We simply added credits for players who would have placed under the broader review.
We also reviewed your account at the time you informed us of this issue, and issued adjustments related to the tournament, along with additional credit as a thank-you for bringing the issue to our attention. While we understand you wanted a full refund of wagers, we do not agree that refunding all gameplay would have been the fairest resolution for everyone.
We acknowledge our communication should have been faster and clearer, and we’ve added review steps to help prevent this from happening again. We stand by the resolution and the steps taken to make this fair.
At this point, the matter has been fully reviewed and resolved, so we will not be commenting further.
Regards,
Lucky Hands
