My experience with Lumiere Education has been truly wonderful and intellectually rewarding. As a high school student passionate about mathematics, computer science, and quantum computing, this program gave me the opportunity to explore my interests beyond the classroom and work on my first independent research paper. One of the most valuable aspects of the experience was the mentorship and feedback I received throughout my research journey. My mentor, Professor Olugbenga Olabiyi, provided guidance that helped me think more critically about my work, approach complex questions more systematically, and better understand the research process. Receiving an A+ evaluation was incredibly encouraging and motivated me to continue pursuing my interests in scientific research. I particularly appreciate the opportunity to explore a challenging topic, develop my analytical skills, and learn the importance of careful reasoning, constructive feedback, and independent thinking. The experience has strengthened my enthusiasm for research and inspired me to continue exploring the fascinating intersection of mathematics, computer science, and quantum technologies. I am genuinely grateful to Lumiere Education and my mentor for making this such a meaningful learning experience. I would recommend the program to students who are curious, motivated, and eager to explore academic interests in greater depth.

My experience with Lumiere Education was excellent. I had the opportunity to explore a topic I was genuinely interested in, improve my research and critical thinking skills, and learn how to analyze different perspectives. My mentor provided helpful feedback and guidance throughout the process, which helped me improve my work. Overall, this program was a valuable learning experience, and I would recommend it to other students who want to challenge themselves academically and explore their interests.

I think what made my experience better was the process of selecting mentors; for example, my mentor, Tolu, was so amazing and made my learning journey 10 times better. As for what makes Lumiere education different, it is that academics are important, but you also need some experience in your respective field of research to get in. Unlike other programs where academics are the main pass/fail point, I do consider Lumiere more of an aware company that sees the potential apart from other variables.
