I am so disappointed
I am so disappointed. I had seriously high hopes for this company as they are far closer to my home than the previous company I ordered from. First they advertise as having so many menu choices that you won't eat the same thing more than two or three times a year. How does that work when many of the portions are two servings, and I received two of each single serving entree? What in the world is pumpkin cream? And I have no idea why anyone would want to eat it. I thought the breakfast chi would be kind of an oatmeal type thing, which would be delicious. It's ends up being a drink and not a great one, especially hot. Most of the fabulous looking entrees on the website were not included in my order, and I paid full price. No Groupon for me. And for those trying to lose weight, having no nutritional information on the packaging (which I'm thinking is required by law) is a major problem. At least send a suggested menu as to what combinations constitute the advertised calorie count for the day. Having to go to the website, and often not finding the product or the product not having a calorie count, is a serious pain. Okay, so this was a $200 bust. I'm going back to the company in California that is cheaper and sends a different item for each meal. Oh, and their breakfast smoothies are delicious. Peace out.I am so disappointed. I am so sorry you were disappointed with the meals and appreciate your taking the time to leave us your feedback. I do wish you would have reached out to us when you received your meals and we could have helped with some of these issues. We take customer service very seriously and try to work with any client who gets in touch with us with the goal of helping them have the best experience possible with our service. Nutrition information for all our meals is located in the "Our Menu" section of our website and also on myfitnesspal.com and their corresponding mobile apps, (a feature used by many of our clients to track their nutrition information). We have developed recipes with the goal of providing as much variety as possible and have 5 menus that rotate within each season and a new set of 5 menus each new season. Being a fresh meal delivery service and a small company we are able to prepare 8 main dishes per week plus all the sides, breakfasts, desserts, etc.. Since we must prepare everything in a short period of time, this is a tradeoff with our company to be able to have meals prepared fresh before they are shipped to you to maximize their nutritional content. Frozen services can sometimes offer variety beyond this because they can do large productions of a single dish and then have those meals frozen for months until they sell out of them. In our case, if you order a program with only fresh meals and you order more than 8 meals there will be some repetition and this is indicated in the description of the program prior to purchasing. We do have a continually changing inventory of frozen meals available as well that some clients use to avoid repetition by supplementing the fresh meals. However, most clients find the level of variety we provide is sufficient, especially since when ordering over multiple weeks individual menus are only prepared 2 or 3 times per year. We have spent over 20 years developing meals with the goal of making them enjoyable while adhering to strict principles of healthy eating based on the combination of traditional cuisines with Macrobiotics and a Whole-Foods Plant-Based diet. We have tried to create something for all palates, but know that for some people this way of eating is completely different from what they are used to and may just not be for them. We are always happy to work with clients to try and customize a menu based on what dishes they think will work better for them. We have also consciously made the decision to never require a subscription for our service so new clients can just try a week without any further commitment. Please feel free to reach out to us directly if you think we can be of help.
