I was asked what name to use in the book and i answered with Gigi. It wasn’t used in the book. My granddaughter doesn’t know me as Grandma. Very disappointed this is an updated review. i was offered a remake of the book or a refund. i took the refund. i’m grateful they read my review and hope the questions get fixed so people understand how these books are being written.

Kris, thank you for taking the time to update your review and for giving me the chance to address this. You were right to expect the name you entered to appear in the personalized parts of the story. We’ve corrected that issue, and I appreciate you helping us find it. Please reach out to me directly if there’s anything else I can do. — Erik, Magic Story

I ordered a previous book for my grandson who's 9 years old. At this age, Videogames are their life!! Now he reads more often ✅ When the book came, it was amazing!! From the Hard cover, illustrations and the character looked Exactly like my grandson! He loves it and so do I! Waiting on his next story! I've subscribed to get a book monthly and I think I'm more excited than him! 🥰

Debbie, "now he reads more often" might be the best line in this entire review. That's the win we're really after. So glad the hardcover and the likeness lived up to it, and we're excited for you both to see what turns up next month. Thank you for subscribing. — The Magic Story Team

They didn’t love the story… sorry
Reply from Magic StorySep 2, 2026
Cheryl, no need to apologize. That's genuinely useful for us to know. Not every story lands with every child, and we'd like the chance to find one that does. If you email our support team and let us know which book it was and what they're into, we'll help point you to a better fit. — The Magic Story Team
