We are sorry that S.G. ultimately felt dissatisfied with his experience. However, we believe this review presents an incomplete picture of a program in which he participated extensively for more than a year.
Throughout the program, S.G. received substantial technical training, project support, and mentorship. Our records include more than 40 mentor sessions across the program, together with recordings and related academic communications. During the program, he also received positive feedback regarding his preparation and technical progress — something he acknowledges in his own review.
We recognize that there were challenges, scheduling changes, and transitions during the advanced project phase. We do not dismiss the frustration that delays can create. At the same time, the extended project timeline also resulted in a longer period of technical engagement and project-based experience than would normally be available in a shorter, fixed-duration project arrangement. In some circumstances, sustained involvement over a longer period can itself be professionally valuable because it gives a participant more time to develop, discuss, and document substantive technical work.
When personnel or scheduling changes occurred, Magnimind continued working to provide technical mentorship, project guidance, and alternative support rather than simply ending the participant’s access to the program.
We also believe professional communication requires reasonable boundaries for both participants and mentors. Our records show repeated attempts to contact an individual mentor outside the normal scheduled communication process, including 13 calls to the same mentor on a Sunday evening beginning around 5:10 p.m. We understand that participants may become frustrated when waiting for answers, but mentors and staff must also be able to maintain appropriate professional boundaries.
There is also important context missing from the review. In his subsequent correspondence, S.G. has acknowledged that earlier phases of the program were delivered and has specifically asked Magnimind to verify his program participation, completed phases, and project work for prospective employers. In our view, this is relevant context when evaluating an overall one-star portrayal of the program. While there is a genuine disagreement concerning aspects of the final project phase, substantial training, mentorship, and project work were completed and are considered professionally relevant enough by the participant himself to request verification for future employment purposes.
For these reasons, we strongly disagree with the characterization that Magnimind showed “little care” or provided no meaningful accountability. Considerable time and resources were devoted to S.G.’s training, mentorship, projects, and continued support.
There is now a private dispute regarding certain aspects of the final project phase and the appropriate resolution. Because legal and regulatory matters have also been raised, we do not believe a public review platform is the appropriate place to publish detailed academic records, private communications, or the parties’ legal positions. Those matters are being addressed through the appropriate process.
We remain committed to learning from legitimate feedback and improving our programs. At the same time, we believe public reviews should fairly reflect the entirety of the experience, including the substantial training, mentorship, project work, and extended technical support that were successfully provided.
