defective tires, no support
Bought a brand-new Marin bike. Both tires were defective from the factory. My local shop sent all the photos Marin requested… and then silence. No response from Marin. No help from the dealer. I had to pay for two brand-new tires myself. On a new bike! Absolutely unacceptable.
Reply from Marin BikesSep 15, 2025
We're truly sorry about the defective tires on your new bike and our lack of response. This is completely unacceptable, and you shouldn't have paid out of pocket. Please email [email protected] with your photos and receipts, and name of the shop - we'll make this right!

Shipping is too expensive
Great support for an "older" model that just needed a proprietary derailleur hanger. I would have much preferred a shipping option that wasn't a $15 premium via FedEx... Ground for $5? It's a 2oz derailleur hanger, throw it in an envelope. get creative.
