Scheduling a marriage coach is difficult. I've been trying for days and can't get through. I was also hoping you guys would have a. App connected to your service. I like the info you guys offer but it's difficult to obtain.

I had not continued the Marriage Helper program, for almost a business week, when I received some terrible news by mistake (something that would've come to light eventually) Needless to say. I had an adverse reaction and blew up the situation bigger than it was, because I was not emotionally ready to handle it. Two days later when I calmed down enough, to reaffirm my dedication to this program, the very first thing Dr. Beam talked about was acceptance. Oh man, this was the second time a situation was addressed by the M.H. program AFTER the fact. This tells me very clearly, that I cannot stray from this enlightenment, if I want my wife's forgiveness. She says it with words, but I don't see forgiveness in her eyes (yet). I am continuing this great program, that from my experience, has solid information to help. Thank you everyone at Marriage Helper David Gower

My initial impression of Marriage Helper was that everyone seemed to be ready and willing to help and support. I believe the concept and principles they are teaching are solid. At one time, my experience would have been 5 star due to positive interactions with their staff at the time. However, once I had spent thousands of dollars on their services, the follow-up and support seemed to stop. Upon looking into their services, I was initially contacted by a representative who was courteous and helpful. I was then assigned a new representative when mine changed positions and after a few exchanges with my newly assigned "support", I received an abrasive email from him when I reached out for help. Because my previous experiences had been positive, I brushed it off. After spending hundreds on coaching and their different toolkits and packages, I signed up for the workshop (which was a HUGE investment). Unfortunately, my time at the workshop was cut short due to circumstances out of my control and they were understanding. I was promised by the MH team I could use my funds spend on an alternate date. I was never contacted by my client representative again and now, over two years later, I have not heard another word from them prior to this email today asking to review their company. To say I am extremely disappointed that I wasted my money on services I was never able to use or that there was follow-up with would be an understatement.

The speaker went on and on - past times for breakouts. So we had limited times for breaks, lunch, to talk as a couple, do the work. The assistant speakers tuck to the scripts and schedule. The main speaker used such graphic examples, and could not stick to the point.

While I’ve given 2 stars, I do respect this company and their mission, the rating is based off of their services applied to my particular situation. My spouse and I had a monthly subscription and we also attended their weekend seminar, so I will speak to those. Firstly, the information they share is presented in a clear and concise manner that’s easy to understand. There’s lots of valuable information that’s applicable to many marital situations. In addition, the information they provide to concentrate on yourself, to help heal and become a better person, is very useful. They make some difficult concepts easy to grasp and understand. So why the lower star review? Because their information didn’t really align with the situation my marriage is in. I also didn’t find much information on how to deal with the tactics of the person that has betrayed you. They deal mostly with limerence when talking about affairs, so if you’re in another situation like a serial cheater, there isn’t much information to help with that. They even admit serial cheating is more difficult to deal with in some of their videos, but never come back to it or try to help with that. I’d say it’s 98% limerence. They also don’t provide much help or information how to deal with the lying, gaslighting, blame shifting and anger from the unfaithful. Those things are some of the most painful things during this experience and it’s not covered much at all how to deal with it, just kind of roll with it and take the pain. That’s hard and very very painful to do. While the strategies and tactics they have presented about being the best you have worked with me and I continue to do them, the info hasn’t helped my situation. :( I hope the services do help others, they are sound, seem viable, and seem like they could work for some, if both spouses are willing to work on things together. At the very least they help you become a better version of yourself, even if your spouse isn’t into it. Good luck if you are in pain and trying to heal from betrayal, I wish you well.

Far too expensive for what they provide. Most of the coaches are inexperienced. Made no real change in my marriage. Do not recommend!
