The team at Master Filmmaker have blown my world open. I’d been looking for a better way to run my production company, and they showed me the way. The training is great, and the coaching is top notch. They are highly invested in making sure you succeed, and I was able to do over six figures in sales by the end of the program. I’ve renewed and can’t wait to keep leveling up.
As our industry gets torn up by technology, do yourself a favor, and find a better way. I now leverage AI and run my company in such a way that I’m very excited about the future, instead of fearful.

I was in a position where I had only 2…
I was in a position where I had only 2 clients and really had no reliable way of growing my business. MFM really helped not only get set up with a process for getting consistent lead flow, they also gave me tons of skills and confidence when it came to sales.
It was not easy and there were definitely many difficult moments but I am super happy where I am now after this program as I have a legitimate business with real clients and I don't think about returning to my job anymore. It feels good to have clients who depend on me and obviously having the cash coming in doesn't hurt either!

Videographer to agency owner
They’ve helped me go from freelance videographer to full on agency owner. I’ve learned so much from this program and would be nowhere close to where I am now if it wasn’t for them. Absolutely worth the investment!

MasterFilmmaker has been a great…
MasterFilmmaker has been a great investment in both myself and my business. The platform has helped me think beyond simply being a filmmaker and become more intentional about building, growing, and scaling a sustainable creative business.
The training has pushed me to improve how I approach sales, marketing, positioning, systems, and the overall direction of my company. More importantly, I’ve been able to take what I’m learning and actually apply it to my business.
If you’re a filmmaker or creative professional who wants to grow beyond just doing great creative work and start building a stronger business around your skills, MasterFilmmaker provides a lot of valuable tools, strategies, and direction.
Definitely a 5-star experience for me.

**$21,000 is a lot to spend before you know if this program is actually for you**
I want to be fair. I don't think the people behind Master Filmmaker are bad people, and I don't think the program is inherently bad. It may work very well for some people. My concern is that you can't realistically know whether the workload, culture, and approach are right for you until you've actually experienced them. By then, you've already made a very significant financial commitment.
I signed up for the $13,000 program in January while working full time. After about two months, I had completed only 1.5 weeks of the actual course because I couldn't keep up with the workload. I was even told in a coaching session that spending most nights working until midnight was essentially the reality of being successful in the program. I quickly realized that wasn't the life or business I wanted.
I was concerned about losing my initial $13,000 investment, so I contacted their team about my situation. They recommended an $8,000 extension so I could have more time and continued coaching beyond the initial client they guarantee. I decided to make that additional investment and try to make it work.
Ultimately, I realized the program simply wasn't for me. On May 29, I asked if they would negotiate a refund. They declined based on their policy because I had already had "eyes on the course." On August 23, I asked for a middle ground and simply asked them to stop the remaining payments on the $8,000 extension that I had barely used and would no longer use. They declined that as well. I received the final answer September 22.
Because the payment plans continued during those nearly four months, I paid roughly another $6,000 while waiting for an answer. I understand that they have contracts and policies, and I'm not upset simply because they enforced them. What disappointed me was the complete lack of flexibility or middle ground.
My advice is to make absolutely sure this program's workload, business model, and lifestyle are what you want before committing. It may be a great fit for some people, but if you discover it isn't for you after starting, be prepared for very little flexibility and potentially a $21,000 lesson.
**UPDATE: Response to Master Filmmaker**
Master Filmmaker has since responded publicly to my review, so I wanted to clarify a couple of points for anyone reading both sides.
I don't disagree that their team invested time in me or that I completed work during my time in the program. I also never claimed that I simply watched videos and did nothing.
When I said I had completed 1.5 weeks, I was referring specifically to my progression through the course roadmap. My Monday board reflects that as well. I also built parts of the business, created ads, did outreach, received coaching, and spoke with prospects. In fact, doing that work is what helped me realize that this was not the kind of business I wanted to build.
I also want to clarify one point from their response. I did not decide that I no longer wanted to run a business. I decided that I did not want to build this particular kind of high ticket business in this particular way. Those are two different things.
My concern has always been what happened after I realized the program was not a fit. I first asked on May 29 if there was any way to negotiate a refund. Later, on August 23, I asked for the much smaller middle ground of simply stopping the remaining payments on the $8,000 extension that I had barely used and would not use. Both requests were denied, with the final answer coming September 22.
I understand that this is a serious implementation program, that their team delivered work, and that the terms were presented before I enrolled. I'm not arguing otherwise. My review is about the financial impact of realizing relatively early that the program was not a fit and finding no flexibility when I asked for a reasonable middle ground.
I appreciate them providing their perspective. I think prospective customers can now see both sides of the experience and decide for themselves whether the program and its financial commitments are right for them.

Thank you for the review.
This program works for high-ticket business owners who are committed to building the business, and we are upfront that it takes real hours because clients don't come from watching videos.
The record here is broader than 1.5 weeks of course content. Over your first few months you built out your CRM and compliance, launched your funnel pages, produced 20 ads, ran an outreach campaign that generated responses, and had prospects in active conversation.
You had 1-on-1s with our coaches, direct feedback from our team in your channel, and weekly check-ins throughout. When you told us the schedule was hard alongside your full-time work, we offered an extension with continued support so you had more runway, and you chose to take it.
You then decided you no longer wanted to run a business. That is a legitimate choice and it's yours. It isn't something we caused, and it doesn't undo the time and work our team delivered under an agreement whose terms every client sees before committing.
For anyone reading this: he's right that you should be sure before you start.
This is done-with-you implementation, not a course, built for high-ticket business owners who want predictable retainer revenue. If you're not sure you want to run a business, don't apply.
We appreciate your review and hope this provides additional context.

So far things are good
Admittedly, I'm only a few weeks into this service; however, there are a number of things I find beneficial so far. It does feel like this is going to help get me to start doing some of the tasks that I have been neglecting in my business. Perhaps it might be the initial investment that helps motivate me to push through this, but either way, getting me to do stuff that I should have been doing a long time ago is what's the most important thing. So far, things are good
