They work fast and efficient. Communication is great- They responded to my every inquiry promptly. My sister's headstone was completed a month sooner than projected and it was exactly the way we wanted it. After my parents pass I'm 100% coming back here for their headstones.

My family is deeply grateful to Mattos Monuments for their kindness, quality craftsmanship and dependability. We needed a custom made headstone for my extraordinary husband to honor his incredible talent, unparalleled charm and wit. Throughout the entire process from selecting the type of stone to installing the final monument Ryan was truly attentive, compassionate, patient and respectful to our requests and suggestions. All the communications between me and the Mattos’s representatives during the entire process were clear and precise and very helpful. There was a little misunderstanding on our side about one of the details, but even after the monument was installed, Ryan kindly took care of it so that we would feel completely satisfied. The monument they created came out beautiful and fully met our expectations, and was installed on time. This has been a very emotional time for me and my family, and I will always remember the care, respect, attention to detail and professionalism showed by Mattos.

I want to express my deepest gratitude to Mattos Monuments in Hayward for the extraordinary care and craftsmanship they poured into creating my family’s seven headstones. From the very beginning, they treated me like family — compassionate, patient, and deeply respectful of the meaning behind every name. We safely made the journey to Tombstone, Arizona, where we are creating a lasting tribute to generations of my loved ones. The headstones are absolutely beautiful — a labor of love that honors their lives and our family legacy. Thank you, Mattos Monuments, for helping me bring this vision to life and for the kindness you extended every step of the way. #Gratitude #FamilyLegacy #MattosMonuments #TombstoneTribute #ForeverInMyHeart 💗

From the moment we contacted Mattos Monuments, we were met with genuine compassion and understanding. Losing our father was incredibly difficult, and the team at Mattos Monuments guided us through the process of choosing a headstone with patience and expertise. They listened carefully to our wishes and offered valuable suggestions to create a memorial that truly reflected his life. The craftsmanship of the granite and the intricate engraving exceeded our expectations. The monument was installed on time and with great care. We are so grateful to Mattos Monuments for creating such a beautiful and lasting tribute to our father. Their professionalism, attention to detail, and compassionate service made a difficult time a little easier. We highly recommend them.

My Dog ( the love of my life passed away) and I needed a headstone made for his gravesite. I went to 2 places close to the cemetery in Napa where he is buried--it was not a good experience. Not only were they very expensive, they were not sensitive to what I was wanting on the headstone nor had the knowledge to do it-- they said "I will check and get back to you" -- weeks would pass. Then I rememberd Mattos Monument and "OH MY GOODNESS AND THANK GOD". They were absolutely amazing. They took their time with me and worked very closely to complete every detail. Every time I stopped by to make a change or to discuss something I was always welcomed with open arms (Ryan is AWSOME as is Ken). And trust me, I am picky on details!!! My Headstone turned out Perfect!!! Thank you from my heart.

Finally got my Pop's headstone.. 27 years later and it's perfect. Ryan, Ali and the Mattos Monument family that assisted with the process were very patient and very kind. As difficult as these times are, they were very supportive and offered their assistance through every step. I can't thank them enough. ***** Bonus Stars!

This review is for the Mattos Monument Co. I worked with Ryan Atwell and he is the most amazing person to work with. I have no words to express my sincere gratitude and appreciation for his prompt response and the work he did for the flat markers for my dad & grandma. I reached out to multiple places, but they all quoted ridiculously high prices. Luckily I got in touch with Ryan and he helped me save money and delivered it before the actual given date. I have the best experience working with him; he is very helpful, professional and understanding. Thank you Ryan from my entire family for the service you provided. I would definitely refer you with any friend and family who would need this service in future.
