Good for business thus far
sometimes the quality of the copies is not clear with photo id's. other than that it works fine..

Thanks for your review! I'm glad it is working for you! For better scan and fax results, please scan as a PDF in black & white mode (if your scanner software has this) at 200 dpi or larger. faxes are a vanishing market....this makes keeping up with it easy
no need to update the machine, or buy a new one scan and email are fast becoming the standard.

Reliable, suggest one improvement
Reliable fax messages. Will always send to difficult locations that MetroFax refuses to send to on weekends. But there is one component of MetroFax that MaxEmail could benefit from: its own address book within the app. It tries to drag addresses and numbers from my Contact list, which is separate from the Fax numbers that I use frequently only for business. Because they are several different locations of the same named business (Walgreen's and other pharmacies), creating easily recognizable differences to make finding them easy for the app would be a big PITA.

Aside from being able to access phone numbers from your contact list, we do have a MaxEmail address book that you can keep your fax-only numbers in. I understand your feedback about multiple fax numbers with the same company name, and I will add this to our list of enhancements for a future release. Needs better options for small businesses
I think the service is great although as faxing fades, it is hard to say this service is a true value anymore. There should be better options for pricing for a two or three person office, which would also make managing the various lines a bit easier.

a bit to expensive
The technology has been around since the late 80's. But the price is a bit to high.

We try to stay competitively priced at 1/2 to 1/3 the cost of a dedicated telephone line alone, and still offer the convenience of modern day delivery methods (web, email, etc.). So far so good
I am pleased not to be paying $40+ $$ a month for a phone bill. I don't receive many faxes but still need to maintain a line, I'm happy with service and cost

MaxEmail is good and cheap which is what I needed

Good work, easy and comes in handy..
Maxemail is easy to use and is a great way to get your faxes and easy to send faxes... it truly comes in handy..
