THEY DESERVE A MINUS 10. THIS WASHER AND DRYER USED TO BE THE BEST......IT'S GONE WAY, WAY, WAY DOWNHILL. THERE IS ZERO CONTROL ONCE THE WASHER STARTS. WAY OVER PRICED FOR WHAT THEY ARE AS A PRODUCT NOW DAYS! ALSO NO RINSE ONLY FEATURE. IF THE WASHER IS STOPPED (NO MATTER WHAT CYCLE IT'S ON) IT WILL COMPLETELY DRAIN THEN UNLOCK

Purchased a new Maytag set from Menards and the washer leaked. Called Menards CSR and they apologized and saif that they would deliver a new one. It took 3 days but they did deliver another new washer. Want to use it...leaked again. Both brand new washers leaked from the tub area. This is simply unacceptable that Maytag would not only produce such defective products but also allow them past their "quality control". Returned both to Menards for a full refund. I will never purchase anything from Whirlpool/Maytag again. It's really sad because Maytag appliances used to be the standard for reliability.

maytag 10 year warranty cover glass cooktop on 3 year old range overheating burning food on low, fire hazzard, this is not caused by normal use , defective ,cheap parts that dont ladt more likely , my previous 2009 maytag lasted 14 years with no service needed, thats why those parts are not included cause they knew they were junk when the built it. the paint is rubbing off and the foor which is glued on is perling away fron the interior door again , it was previously repaired before the one year warranty lapsed

If you are faced with EVER buying a maytag washer... DO NOT DO IT!!! I have had my MVW5430MW top load for just over 3 years.... and it has quit again! When you are someone's caregiver, this causes things to back up!! This make about the 7th time since I purchased the set LESS THAN THREE YEARS AGO this same wirring issue keeps happening. I have lengthened them, used clamps to crimp them back together....taped them up out of the way, nothing helps!! The first time was within a year....thank goodness because maytag people will NOT even talk to you without a warranty. Wiring harness, apparently a known issue...didn't get ya back out here the 2nd through 6th time! Now, it has quit again, full of clothes and water, of course. And, I've watched, the no agitator thing does NOT get all the clothe clean! So, mark this up as lesson learned. I will drain it, take the clothes out and replace it with the roper that worked when I took it out! And now they are whirlpool, also so that limits things even more! so, thanks a lot, maytag. Edit: it's down, again. Moved it to get to the plug in and it tries to connect and even started working for about 7 or 8 minutes. Spun out clothes filled back up like it should, then lights started flashing, again. Kept trying to come back on until I could get it unplugged! The worst part is CORPORATE AMERICA is too greedy to send someone out to fix it for less than $400 bucks! Nope.....I'll get my old one out! EDIT 2: hey Maytag, 2 hour repair, runs 3 loads, stops AGAIN!!!! Same stupid lights on, AGAIN!!! I guess I am just a shitty repair person....OR maytag couldn't care any less about their customer! The NEW washer do not spin off all the water in clothes Repair man found a BOLT on the belt. He would not put a new belt on The Lid lock was Not the correct lock. He did replace Still NOT spinningʻ clothes out. I called and they sent the same repair man and all he did this time was take a computer read out, sent it to Whirlpool/Maytag. Now they refuse to fix it because I was a TAD rude. Will never buy another product of Whrlpool/Maytag again

Microwave was under warranty and they tried to charge 600 to sell me a service plan to come out. What a joke of a company

This is the single worst washer I have ever purchased. It worked for ONE single year! The door locked and trapped my clothes inside, after fiddling with it for a stupid amount of time I finally got it open to get my clothes out, then it locked on me again. I kept unplugging it and pushing the buttons in the order I was told for troubleshooting (the customer service and explaining how to fix your washer was useless and did nothing, very unresponsive) nothing worked, called someone to fix it, he ordered a new door lock (300 dollars later) its still broken. Repair man says I need a new motherboard which would cost me another at least 400 dollars plus labour. Technician just advised me to buy a whole new machine and chuck this one, he said maytag isnt the good quality machines it used to be, says hes always fixing these machines in houses as they break down a lot. Really disappointed I spent this much cash for a single years worth of laundry. Never buying Maytag again, im getting a Huebsch next, we'll see how that one goes

Got a brand new washer at Christmas 2025. Delivered a set up Jan 2, 2026. The pet pro plus washer and dryer set. Washer stopped working early April and after multiple service calls, nothing. Horrible product and will never buy another Maytag product again or any affiliated brands
