After many late nights of brainstorming and collaboration, husband and wife team, Syd and Shea McGee decided to take what was a small business for a stay-at-home mom and turn it into something much more.

The wallpaper arrived more than a month…
The wallpaper arrived more than a month after I ordered. The run on the wallpaper had so much waste to match the pattern so I just gave up. I wish they had at least sent me a coupon code for waiting so long for my order.

Beautiful chair though, but is a bit cheap looking... oh well, I bought at target for very cheap price i can't expect a West Elm quality lol...

Why is this whole organization so confused?
They just don’t get it. If they want to sell luxury items, they need to compete in the luxury market, and as much as I love McGee & Co, they don’t hold a candle to Restoration Hardware, Room & Board, and even West Elm in regards to the customer experience... I’m not sure there’s even a focus on McGee & Co’s e-commerce business vs. their design business, and it really, really shows. The entire experience from purchase to shipping to returns to customer support is just bad. Bad, bad, and bad again. They’re confused, I’m confused, we’re all confused! This shouldn’t be the case when spending thousands of dollars with any business. As much as I want to support a growing business, they’re simply very unprepared and very lost. With this, I’d recommend ordering elsewhere. You can easily search the product name on Google and you’ll find the exact same thing being sold by other notable retailers.

Purchased 6 framed art pieces
Purchased 6 framed art pieces, took FOREVER to receive them only to see that they are not even close to what was described on their website. Gave them 2 stars because they did give me a refund. Won’t be buying from them again. IMO everything is way overpriced for what you get.

Gutherie Cabinet…. Eye candy!
Ordered the Gutherie cabinet a couple weeks ago (it’s been on my wish list for Years!) arrived quickly, and it’s exceeded my expectations! Very well made, and absolutely gorgeous!!!! I’ve had so much fun styling it, that my kids joke I need to greet it in the morning! :)
