I think the concept is great and the MD is knowledgeable, however, I think there needs to be more clarity on the service they can provide.

Dr was very nice, only called in cough pearls, ended up at urgent care 2 days later my son had strep throat. I would still use this service MUCH MUCH cheaper than my $567 urgent care bill!

Unfortunately sometimes that means more time is needed to confirm a diagnosis. Sorry we weren't able to save you the cost of that urgent care bill, but your child was in pain, and you did the right thing. Hope your son is feeling better. I have used MDLive 3 times, the last experience was the best in terms of response time, tech issues (none!) and the time the MD spent with me on the call and in follow-up. The first two times there were tech issues that held things up for hours. The team was courteous in keeping me updated that they were working on the tech end and apologized repeatedly. Had there not been these glitches twice, I would gladly give a 5 star rating. It is wonderful when you are sicker than a dog not to have to be in a waiting room or worry about spreading your germs and picking up other people's bugs. I am sure the health care teams appreciate that too.
