Further edit: This review is about a different business entirely. Ment Funding is NOT a broker. I have attempted to reach this client multiple times, he does not answer.
This is Anton, owner and ceo of Ment Funding.
First and foremost, all our clients, after the migration to a new platform, are either able to now trade or are getting actively helped to get themselves set up to trade - since a full migration isn't an easy task.
Secondly, Ment Funding has never scammed a single customer. We have operated since 2021 and have thousands of traders under the Ment Funding umbrella, with a reported 100% of requested payouts being paid out with no issues.
Thirdly, this review seems to be about something else, and seems to also be about a different business entirely.
You are free to investigate or conduct anything along those lines, just not within our review pages; let alone with a 1 star review for no reason whatsoever.
Regarding your second point, what we provide is a service, where we test you to trade under the available broker/environment available at any given point.
A limitation of the prop space (and not working with a specific broker at any 1 point) - is that you also have to be ok with the downside of changes in platforms (potentially) - even though brokers themselves undergo the same kind of changes when necessary.
As a prop, our main goal is to provide funding and an environment within which you can trade - that's what we've done. While also specifying within our terms and conditions - terms and conditions you had personally AGREED TO yourself - that ofcourse the availability of what you pay for in regards to markets/platforms is subject to change (ofcourse... because sometimes unprecedented things do and can happen and we need to be able to resolve it).
We cannot randomly provide mt4/5 when metaquotes (metatrader) has pulled its license with many brokers. Many brokers are also undergoing this shift and DO NOT need to provide a refund to anyone that doesn't want to use them - I hope this makes sense to you.
You received the product and service you paid for, and you utilized said product and service - so ofcourse a refund is not in order. Many of our clients that hadn't placed a single trade were refunded immediately in the scenario that it was what they wanted. You had traded with our team prior to this debacle for over 360 days - so ofcourse a refund would make 0 sense. It's very sad to see a review that attempts to bribe our team (since we dont have many reviews) so that we dont have to suffer at the hand of a 1-star. Sadly, we have stayed consistent with the way we approach each individual and client, and to keep it fair across the board, we ofcourse wouldnt accept a bribe nor make exceptions. It is sad to see you abuse your power as a customer, especially one that had utilized our service for so long, and fraudulently make claims that you yourself had agreed to with 0 remose/attempts at communication.
To this day, I have attemped calling this client 4+ times, have attempted messaging him 40+ times, all with 0 reply outside of the his following reply "mt4 or refund now".
Further edit: Metaquotes pulled their license with the broker, not with Ment Funding. We are working WITH a broker and have to adhere to their environment rather than vice versa. When metaquotes pulled their license with ThinkMarkets (current broker) we ofcourse have to adhere to said changing environment as we are currently working with ThinkMarkets - after all, we are NOT the broker in any capacity. This client continues to disregard any attempt at communication and continues to bribe via the same message outlined above "MT4 or refund" - the only communication we have properly received from this client are via the review page. This is very sad to see.
Metaquotes pulling licenses is not up to us in any way - and we delivered the best solution we could, and continue to work on better ones.
Thanks for the review,
Anton
