Meowtel sitters are independent contractors who manage their own schedules and availability, and our platform policies — including reservation and cancelation terms — are published transparently, written to protect both clients and sitters, and applied consistently across our community.
One point raised in this review relates to our 24-hour cancelation policy. While it is correct that reservations canceled within 24 hours of the reservation start date are not refundable, Meowtel also has a separate, clearly stated 24-hour grace period in which clients may cancel within 24 hours of placing the reservation and receive a full refund. In the situation referenced here, the booking had been placed only a few hours prior — well within that grace period — making the client fully eligible for a refund according to our published policies.
