Hi Janelle, It sounds like your children are off to a great start in their Mightier play and really understand how it works. It's wonderful that you're using the language to help frame emotions and behaviors outside of their game play as well. That real life translation of cool down strategies that your looking for tends to take at least a few months for most kids. The practice they're getting right now by repeatedly bringing their heart rates down is slowly shifting that internal and automatic response to stressors.
