Enjoying their platform and coaching. There are some bugs but as fast as they are creating new things, it's to be expected. Hoping for a lot of growth due to the capabilities of the platform and constant improvement. Tons of potential!!

I’m truly grateful I found StreetTeam and Modern Musician. As an independent artist, one of the biggest challenges is keeping everything organized, and this platform has helped me bring so many important parts of my music business into one system. I’ve learned so much about my audience, email lists, marketing, and how to build a stronger connection with my fans. Having so many tools in one place is incredibly valuable, especially when you realize how much you would normally spend on multiple websites and platforms separately. The customer service has also been amazing. Whenever I’ve had a question, issue, or found a bug, the team has always been responsive, supportive, and willing to help and improve the system. There is definitely a learning curve, and it takes some time to understand everything the platform can do, but you’re not doing it alone. The team is there to guide you through the process, and for me, the investment has absolutely been worth it. I’m very grateful to have found this platform!

This made my day. Thank you so much for taking the time to write this Samara. The part that hit me the most is how you feel like you're not doing it alone - that's the whole point. Building a music career takes real work, and you've clearly put it in, but you shouldn't have to figure it all out by yourself. That's why we're here. It's an honor to be a small part of what you're building. Thank you for trusting us with it. Because you deserve to be heard!! 🙏 (yeaaaaaah!!!) Michael Walker Founder, Michael Walker

Aggressive sale tactics. After I clearly told them I wasn't interested a member proceeded to follow through via text. When I didn't reply he called me THREE TIMES IN A ROW. I hung up on the third attempt and texted back for him to please delete my number and do not call me again. He proceeded to text me regardless trying to offer me a free 5 day class. Then I proceeded to also get ANOTHER text message from a different number. Be ware of this company's aggressive sale tactics. Legitimate companies respect boundaries.

Hi, thanks for sharing your experience, and I’m so sorry about this. I can understand how frustrating it would be to keep getting calls and texts after clearly saying you weren’t interested. The last thing we’d want is to make someone feel pressured, and your request to stop should have been respected. If you wouldn’t mind reaching out to [email protected], we’d be happy to look into what happened and make sure you don’t receive any further outreach. Thank you for bringing this to our attention, and wishing you all the best. Michael Walker Founder, Modern Musician

Did the 12-week Launch Program and it was great! I learned a ton about marketing, social media, meta ads, and how to setup an automated pipeline that works for me. Now that I'm launched, it finally feels attainable that I can sustainably grow an audience. The coaches are great and knowledgeable and Michael is super passionate about the platform and vision for Modern Musician and Street Team

hey Nicholas, thank you so much for this! It means the world to hear that the program helped you build a system that actually works for you. That feeling of "sustainable growth finally feels attainable" is exactly what we're going for, and you put in the work to make it real. Now if we could just get OpenClaw to run the whole pipeline for us 🦀 Ha! So excited to watch your audience grow from here. Keep us posted, we're cheering you on! they have absolutely changed the course of my career for the better. Modern musician has help me to build something WORTH DISCOVERING. I have now retired my wife from her full time job, and we get to tour around the world with our two children full time. Literally.. this IS the dream.

Tyler! this gives me goosebumps. I’m so proud of you, man- not just for what you’ve built with your music, but for what you’ve created for your family. Seeing you retire your wife, travel the world with your kids, and live the dream you were called toward is so inspiring. I see a lot of myself in your story- there was a season where I felt that crossroads between providing for my family and pursuing music, and Modern Musician was built for artists like you. Grateful to know you, grateful to support you, and excited for everything still ahead. Michael Walker Founder, Modern Musician

Two weeks ago I talked Sol Gold of Modern Musician and told him I'm still recovering from a severe vehicle accident and in the future I might reconsider trying out their services after my physical recovery is completed. This morning unexpectedly my bank contacts me regarding a fraud alert and Modern Musician tried twice to charge my bank account for $2,500. My account is now locked and unfortunately Modern Musician appears to be a scam where they don't provide any tangible services other than making you think that you are getting help with music distribution and promotion. I highly recommended anyone besides Modern Musician because they just can't be trusted at all? Good morning Michael Please explain to me how your billing system just decided to bill me this morning? The last time I spoke with Sol Gold is s over two weeks ago. I doubt this was accidental but I'm willing to give you the benefit of the doubt. You might want to consider removing automatic billing from your system because Trustpilot has many other similar complaints about being charged without permission.

Hi Mitchell, I’m really sorry for the stress and frustration this caused, especially while you’re recovering. We looked into this, and it appears your payment plan was not properly cancelled after your Launch Kickoff call was originally booked. That was our mistake, and we sincerely apologize. The two attempts happened because the first payment failed and the system automatically retried it - but to be very clear, this was not deliberate and no charge went through. We’re grateful your bank protected you from being charged, and we understand why this would have been alarming from your side. We’ve already reached out to you privately to apologize and make sure this is fully resolved. We take this seriously, and we’re reviewing our process so this does not happen again. Again, I’m truly sorry for the miscommunication and the stress this caused. Michael Walker Founder, Modern Musician

Spent $5000 3 or 4 yrs ago. Didn't get much out of it so just discontinued doing business; or so I thought. Got an email today... out of nowhere... that they charged my credit card from back then $297 for a monthly subscription/membership that I NEVER signed up for. No way to reach them via website. Not way to call or connect other than messenger on FB and Instagram. The response was immediate when they took my money years ago.

Hi Jim, Thanks for bringing this to our attention. I’m sorry this felt unexpected and frustrating, and I understand why it would be upsetting to see a charge come through after thinking everything had been discontinued. We reviewed your account, and our records show that the software subscription was started on September 23, 2024. If it would be helpful, we’re happy to send over the record we have from that signup so you can review it as well. I also want to clarify that our support email is listed on our website, and our team responds within 24 hours on business days. From what I can see, our team responded to you right away and refunded the recent payment. We care about treating people fairly, and we never want anyone to feel stuck or unable to reach us. I’m sorry for the frustration this created, and I appreciate you giving us the chance to look into it and make it right. Michael Walker Founder, Modern Musician

Working with Jared was great. He took me step by step through the process of setting up my system so that I am now seeing growth without micro managing the whole process. He was attentive to my questions, answered them effectively and responded within a reasonable time. He was informative and a pleasure to work with. Drew

I’ve loved watching your growth and your positive attitude throughout the process. Excited for what’s ahead 🙌 - Michael Walker
