I am amazed at how these ropes give you results in no time.
I received my ropes on last Saturday and I am already seeing results. This is what I need to get ripped in no time.

Is what it says... no surprises here.
I liked the idea of a big, burly rope. I have been smacked in the shins before with the lightning-speed cable type of jump ropes, it really hurts. This rope is pretty tough to hang on to. It takes some grip, but that is the beauty with this beast -- you get a very universal workout. Grip strength, wrist strength, arms, shoulders, you get the picture. I found my sorry butt tired out very fast. But I am no Hulk, either. From the pictured item, I thought there would be a section of heat shrink in the center of the rope, something I thought would help keep the rope from shredding prematurely. It is an outdoor use rope after all... But mine arrived with only the handles wrapped. No big deal... I think the odds of me wearing that rope out are small. IF I was able to wear that rope out, I would be a bad-ass! My only complaint is that the rope seems to have a slight chemical smell/feel to it. I keep it in my car, and when I get in I can smell the thing a little. I open a window and in a few minutes it is gone, again, not a big deal. It is a serious rope. It is not for sissies! Hahaha....At least that is what I tell my self!
