Hard to follow
As a new user I find it very difficult to navigate MyChart and how it relates to the NHS app. I am an experienced Patient/Public Voice in my previous area and with NHSE so this is disappointing.

It is difficult to use. I can rarely find the document a health provider sends to me. It lists appointments that I went to years ago. It cannot be trusted so I end up calling my providers to set appointments, get refills. Whatever my hospital is paying for MyChart is wasted on an inept app.

Been happy with this app until yesterday I received a message to open app and review my test results from that morning. Intrigued, as I hadn’t had any tests for months I opened and saw someone else’s ECG results !! This is seriously bad. I phoned to complain. Although they said they would investigate and call me back. 24 hours later I’ve heard nothing. Just looked again and results have disappeared !! Looking into how I manage my information or more importantly if my information is being shared 😡

It is a solution looking for a problem. Does not help me, but creates work! I'll get texts indicating results are available, I log in and no. Nothing, nada, nyet.... today I received multiple texts telling me I had results. I log in only my appointment was added; it was for the day before. So I return to the original text and clicked that link. It used: (my hospital name)/MyChart. Different set of credentials!!! OMG! My wife had been on the phone for 90 minutes on their help line just to get hers to work. It doesn't. The one time I did actually need a result, I couldn't print it or screenshot it. All it does is data mine me. I'd hate to be forced to make appointments through this app. The entire month is clear, you make an appointment then the next day you get a text. Can't open it at work, so when you are on your lunch you open it and find out the slot is taken. This madness repeats until you decide to just call in. Yeah, that'll be a hard no. I'll literally stop going to the doctor.

Arbitrary and obscure rules! No consideration of patients before upgrades and configuration ! Insufficient testing of upgrades! Untrained tech reps! No public directories of providers or departments! Arrogant & unresponsive management! 15+ years of frustration!
