This app is ridiculous, I had my password rejected and had to log in yet again, every item, licence passport etc required the same entry of name dob etc, once it's entered once, my name and dob don't change. There is a pathetic search system that cannot find the section that i have been told to search for. Beyond a joke

Every time I needed help, they never even let me finish speaking and would say they couldn’t help me without even listening to what I had to say! I don’t know what customer service is for if they can never help you. Completely useless!

My ID Care contacted me about a document of mine that they had found on the Dark Web. As I didn't know what to do, I called their number - and there was never an answer.

What a crap government service. It's impossible for some us to comply with the requirements.

MyIDCare recently updated its systems. So methods of logging into your account have become a nightmare. If desire to receive a text message with your code to verify, it takes 15 to 20 minutes to arrive. By then the system has "Timed out." It repeatedly times out, and often while you're working to get logged in. Once there, the new look is a mess. Even though the product once you have navigated to your alerts looks the same. They can't help you, it reminds you of the commercial for Consumer wireless, just because it is Purple, is it really "Premium?"

I regularly get Alerts indicating my password has been compromised but the alerts don't indicate which site(s). The Alerts say: "If the "potential site" is not named, you should consider what sites you have associated with the “Monitored Element Email Addresses” and consider changing your password on those sites." Really? I have one email address associated with hundreds of websites. I use a unique password on each site but I have no way of knowing which site was compromised because MyIDCare doesn't tell me which site it is and they won't disclose the password either. They say "For your security, we do not display your password in an effort to stop further exposure." Apparently they are OK with hackers having my password but they don't wont to risk sharing it with me? These Alerts are completely useless.

Well, for starters, it's astounding that I've just received an email inviting me to review IDX, because THEY NEVER SUCCEEDED IN ACTUALLY SETTING UP AN ACCOUNT FOR ME! (Well, actually, they sort of did; see further below.) Here's a company that's supposed to have expertise in policing the high-tech world of data and its would-be thieves, but they WERE NEVER CAPABLE, AFTER SEVERAL TRIES, OF GETTING AN EMAIL DELIVERED TO ME SO THAT I COULD VERIFY MY EMAIL ADDRESS. (Their I.T. department claims that their software showed that they were in fact delivered to me. Look, I know how to use a computer, and how to use email. NONE of those messages reached me.) What HAVE reached me are six or seven OTHER emails -- including this latest one, inviting me to review IDX -- that amount to marketing, promotional, and/or "how to tips" emails. But never, ever, did any email reach me that was supposed to be the final step in setting up an account (the one by which I was to verify my email address!) I've had this email account for years, and these were the first of the many THOUSANDS of messages sent to me that the senders couldn't figure out how to actually get to me. And maybe, here's the best part: Because I'd given them my personal information (by phone, because only a fool would submit SSN or DOB online), they said that I really DID have a account set up with them . . . BUT . . . . . . if a security concern arose, they wouldn't be able to alert me to it, immediately, via email. They could, however, alert me via postal letter!!!! (Gee, why not use the Pony Express, or smoke signals, or two tin cans and a string?) Navvis -- a company entrusted with the medical records and other personal information of thousands of people -- was the latest of far too many companies that's been hacked. As a result, I was offered free identity protection with IDX. Folks, I wouldn't allow these guys to safeguard my information or "protect" me, even if they paid me. Oh, and BTW, I gave one star, but only because we're not allowed to give none.
