What really made this work for me was the audio book play button option on the top of each page as it read the material out loud for me as I listened through my headphones. With my current job which doesnt allow me to sit down and read, I was able to multi task and retain the learning material while working long weeks (most weeks reach 90+ hours) which by the end of the week im too burnt out to put in studying hours. Instead im able to come home and put in just enough time to take the quizzes and tests. Im not sure about other CPT learning courses but NASM has really hit the ball out of the park for me. Very greatful I went with NASM.

DON’T BUY THEIR COURSES! I am very disappointed with NASM. I earned my certification this month, and since then I have been trying to obtain a PDF copy of my certificate. The only thing they provided was a QR code, which doesn’t even display my name. The problem is that employers and another certification organization require an actual PDF certificate for verification and renewal purposes. I have called NASM multiple times, but no one answers. Every call goes straight to voicemail. I have also sent several emails explaining that this is an urgent matter because I need the document to renew another certification. The instructions they provided are not helpful at all. When I click “View Certificate” on their website, absolutely nothing happens. I’ve tried on a laptop, desktop computer, iPad, and multiple browsers with the same result. Their communication is terrible. After almost a week, they finally responded to my email, but the response did not solve the problem. Interestingly, when they want to sell you a course, they are very quick to contact you. However, when you need support, getting help is nearly impossible. I was planning to purchase additional certifications from NASM, but after this experience, I will be taking my business elsewhere. In contrast, ISSA has been responsive, helpful, and has even answered questions on weekends. Because NASM has failed to provide proper support or a valid certificate document, I may lose the opportunity to renew another certification on time. It’s incredibly frustrating that after completing and paying for a course, I still cannot obtain a simple PDF certificate and am left with only a QR code that many institutions do not accept. Very disappointing experience!!!

This company is quick at taking your money but super slow at replying you and doing a refund. As a matter of fact they do not even do a refund. They ghost you. I do not know why they are know as Gold standard when they are not. People should stop giving too much credit to it especially when customer services is low. I called, text, email and not responses more than 1 month and still no answers.

The support from my program advisor at the start of my enrollment was incredibly helpful and set me up for success. The NASM program itself is excellent, I felt very prepared to work with clients upon completion. I’m proud to represent the NASM brand, as it is highly respected within the industry and has opened the door to multiple opportunities

Definitely the route to go to get proper education on fitness and wellness. HOWEVER, they absolutely rob you for your money. And they REFUSE to give refunds, even when you accidently double ordered something (i'm out 1,200 dollars extra, on top of my original course). So yeah, they are robbers 100%.

Online content is okay but I can't say I've walked away feeling prepared to work with clients. As someone who already has certifications in group fitness (yoga, aerial, and pole classes) I was really looking for more specific content to implement training plans, learning more about specific movements to target different muscles, etc. I don't like that you don't have forever access to course material. Also, the online platform constantly crashes and glitches (literally writing this review while I was in the midst of a practice exam when the course crashed and now can't get back in...) Still have a couple other courses to complete in a package I purchased so hopefully they fill in some gaps? Proctored exam in a couple weeks so fingers crossed with that...

The exam is like FBI secrets exam. Stressful, super hard. It took 2 hours for me to prepare there requirements. It is just waste of money

Most disgusting company ever! They won’t let you cancel no matter what your situation! They should really be ashamed of themselves. I put in an appeal to them back in March, and they said it would take 30 days to review. Well it has been over two months now, and still nothing. I’ve called at least 7 times now, and after each of those calls I get “someone will get back to you.” To top it all off, I am calling another country!! I asked to talk to someone in the United States and they can’t even do that. They told me they have to leave a message for them to call me back!! Seriously. What kind of company is this?? They keep putting me off, and in the meantime, I get money automatically taken out of my account each month. Nice scam to screw people over. “The Most Respected Name in Fitness Certification.” What a joke! If this company was so respected, they wouldn’t need to take advantage of people.
