Joel, since I'm not the clinician who reviewed your intake, I can't confidently say exactly why a lower dose was selected. It's possible the provider wanted to allow for a smoother transition, as Zepbound and compounded tirzepatide may differ in formulation, and med adjustments aren't always straightforward. We also request proof of previous prescriptions to help providers assess treatment history. Your prescription details are available in the patient portal, by the way, and I'm sorry that wasn't made clearer.
When you complete your purchase, you agree to a process where the provider reviews your intake and determines the appropriate prescription, without requiring separate approval afterward. In some cases, providers may request additional follow-up. That said, I absolutely agree that the missed calls and lack of follow-through should have been handled much better, and I've noted your concerns.
And to address your comment about our Trustpilot replies, we ask for identifying information when a review alone doesn't allow us to locate the correct patient account. Without that verification, we can't responsibly investigate or discuss someone's specific experience. It's not a way to dismiss a complaint, but a necessary step toward giving someone a more meaningful answer.
I see your subscription has since been canceled, and I'm sorry things didn't work out. We appreciate you giving us a chance, Joel, and I wish we'd left you with a better experience.
