UPDATED: Most stuff has been sorted. However, now the whole dashboard has been reset, all logins gone, everything back to the setting up like I'm a brand new client all over again. Support is also inactive.

EDITED 10/13/2026! The WORST company we have ever entered into business with. I genuinely don't know where all these 5-star reviews are coming from-do not be fooled. Garbage customer service, garbage at actually completing what they say they will. Do NOT listen to the 5-star reviews, as tempted as you might be. The risk is not worth it. They let us get to a place where we forfeited the right to do business in a state because they (as they admitted) failed to file with the state. You will gain NOTHING from working with them, and will lose your mind. Stay with your more expensive sales tax provider-Numeral advertises itself as being cheaper but that cheaper service will come at the cost of you having to constantly monitor them and correct their mistakes. 2/15/26: Be ready for onboarding mess! It took Numeral several months to actually get us onboarded (blowing past their guarantee that they'd have us onboarded by February 1st). I've been dealing with missed payment notifications and unfiled returns from February 2025 for 4+ months. While things have definitely improved, Numeral does not provide the white glove service they claim. If you have the option to not begin service with Numeral, I recommend you take it. EDIT on 6/1/2026: removing a star for continuous customer service issues. Can't get a real response, constantly told they're working on it, etc. So, so, so disappointed. I wish we had never contracted this service. EDIT on 8/25/2026: removing another star for the fact that Numeral let us get in a place where we were very close to not being able to do business in a state because they filed the report late. They said they'd cover it, but it was charged to our checking account. I can no longer get a response from customer service. So disappointing across the board. I wish I could give zero stars. Save yourself, don't hire them!

They will file the return and authorize payment from your bank account without you reviewing or approving the return. Buyer beware

Highly recommend. We needed a lot of help managing our sales tax situation, and not only did we get the benefit of an easy to navigate and automated tool, but customer service really stepped up to provide one on one support when we needed it too. Highly recommend! If you care about be compliant as you grow your business, without the headache, I highly recommend Numeral!

Numeral has taken such a huge load off my shoulders in general, but I reached out with a request to do some back filings, and not only were they fast and helpful, they were able to approve a huge request I had. I will continue to refer my business owner friends!

I’ve only completed the onboarding process with Numeral so far, but it’s already been night and day compared to my experience with Avalara. The Numeral team was quick, hands-on, and transparent every step of the way. The process was action-oriented and straightforward—honestly, a huge relief. With Avalara, I found the experience clunky, confusing, and expensive, and when I finally had questions, no one could give me a straight answer. With Numeral, I felt supported and in control. If the rest of the experience is anything like the start, I’m in good hands. Five stars.
