Automatic payments were easy to set up before the trip. I do wish I could've seen a monthly invoice showing my updated balance after each payment. My daughter said the guides were great and she felt very safe and was looked after well the entire time.

THANK YOU OFFBEAT!!! It's been a month and I can't wipe the smile off my face; the DR is BEAUTIFUL, but our experience was deeply enhanced by the local experts and guides at Offbeat. They often work with students to travel abroad, but I would've assumed they specialized in family trips based on the service we received with our 9 month old in tow. We asked for a trip full of food and outside time. They delivered waterfalls, hikes, and caves along with treats like chocolate, chinola (passionfruit), and chicharron. Special shoutout to a few of the staff: Jonas for becoming besties with the baby, Francis for encouraging us to jump into the iciest water ever (colder than Lake Superior), and Harry, the owner, for coordinating and checking in regularly. Apparently, they also have guides in different locations like Costa Rica. Now the only question is if we go to a new location or come back to DR... Thank you again for such great memories with our family!! Hopefully, see you somewhere in the world in 2025!

I'm about to go on my 2nd trip with Offbeat Travel. That should say something right there. While traveling to remote locations in the Dominican, Offbeat Travel always provided secure transfers, amazing guides and translators, and manageable daily schedules for everyone.

Offbeat made our trip to the DR a breeze. Having people hyper-local to the areas we traveled, going to restaurants and cafes our guides love (and frequent even without tours), and navigating the city with people who know traffic patterns and best-time-to-visit places allowed us to focus on the trip, and less on the logistics. I can't wait to travel with Offbeat for our next trip, thanks!

We traveled with Offbeat in March of 2024 and it was absolute perfection from start to finish. We toured the Colonial Zone in Santo Domingo, and then headed to Paraiso Cano Hondo in Sabana de la Mar. It was a perfect place to relax and we very much enjoyed the eco lodge and how beautiful everything was! We then took a boat tour of Los Haitises National Park. We got to travel through mangroves to caves that had actual pictographs and petroglyphs! We spent time on the beach as well during our trip and enjoyed local food and drinks. I can't stress enough how wonderful and well planned everything was! Skip the all inclusive resort next time and have Offbeat Travel plan it all for you. Their incredible staff will take care of everything and you won't regret it!

My daughter has traveled with Offbeat Travel twice so far (Dec 2023 and July 2024). She will be traveling with them again in Dec 2024. I would bank on her traveling with them again beyond the December 2024 date. So, while I haven't personally traveled with Offbeat, I see and experience so much of what they do through my teenager. They are amazing. My daughter is an amazing person in general. But her experiences through this company have made her that much better. It's actually hard to come up with the exact words to describe how she is better than she was before she went on these trips. In addition, I trust them completely with safety of my one and only child. I hope to personally experience a trip with Offbeat in the future but until then I can still highly recommend them based on my daughter's experiences. Cheers!!

I have traveled with Offbeat twice and each time the guides and plans are executed with such care. I can not say enough about the positive experience I had in BOTH the DR and Puerto Rico. I will 100 Percent work with Offbeat again, whether with a student group or personally!
