In the world we live in today, with internet able to respond in record time, getting a reply three days later from a company you’ve ordered an item from and followed up with an email, is unacceptable, in my opinion. I had an issue with a rug I ordered in May from Kings Lane, which was returned to them by UPS unbeknownst to me. I first decided to reorder the rug, but rethought my decision and emailed One Kings Lane’s customer service to ask for a refund instead, which had already been offered to me. In my email I asked that someone in customer service please let me know they had received my request and it took three days for them to reply. I feel like my issue was unimportant to One Kings Lane.

I just received my new One Kings Lane catalog. There are so many things in it I like. After reading so many 1 star reviews and the horrible experiences customers had for really extended periods of time, I’ll pass. Shopping for furniture has turned into a third world country experience. No thanks.

Am in the midst of having an absolutely appalling experience. I have been waiting over a month for a refund due to an issue on their end. Nobody can explain what is going on, nobody is attempting to fix this or make it right for us. Emails go unanswered or I have even been lied to on a couple of occasions, I cannot get a straight answer out of anyone. Cannot express enough how frustrating it has been. To make matters worse I had a call from the delivery team informing me that the original item was ready to be delivered but OKL won't release it! So they won't or can't refund me but I also can't receive the item either. At a loss and have never had a customer service experience like it. ETA: FINALLY received help from Oscar. He was the only agent of many who I spoke to that actually followed up and took the time to explain what the issue was and he immediately fixed it. If the other agents I spoke to had done this initially then it would not have taken over a month to resolve. I will not be updating my rating or ordering from them again as it not only took me such a long time to finally speak with someone who looked into the matter for me but I had to repeatedly reach out.
