Hello Eugene,
Thank you for your detailed review. I'll address each of the issues you raised.
1. It is important for users to set up their profiles again on the new platform. As explained in the v4 release notes, both platforms were built on different frameworks, and moving user data could potentially break or corrupt it. To avoid this, we asked you to re-import your profiles, which is considerably faster on the new platform.
2. The Unlimited plan we offered in both v3 and v4 has always included a single workspace. Offering unlimited workspaces is not sustainable when we already provide unlimited profiles. Additionally, you can group your profiles within your workspace, allowing you to publish and view the calendar for a group.
For a single one-time fee, this is more cost-effective than a single month’s price of similar platforms. You can always purchase additional licenses for more workspaces, which also helps us generate more revenue to keep the platform competitive.
3. The issue with RSS not displaying images is due to the link provided. The platform you pull posts from uses a dynamic URL setup, causing the RSS link to lead to a 404 page as it differs from the main post URL. Kindly check your RSS history, as all URLs point to a 404 on the website. We have no control over such setups.
Regarding the RSS caption being too long for Twitter, this issue was fixed 14 days ago, a few hours after you reported it.
4. On customer support, I reviewed your 4 tickets from the past 4 months, all of which were answered within 30 minutes, and all issues were resolved, including the RSS caption issue mentioned above.
4. Concerning the lack of support for social networks, we currently support 14 social networks, which are the most widely used platforms, including:
- Facebook
- Instagram
- X (Twitter)
- TikTok
- YouTube
- Google Business
- LinkedIn
- Pinterest
- Reddit
- Mastodon
- Tumblr
- Bluesky
- Telegram
- VK
We will be releasing support for Threads in a few weeks. Few competitors offer as much.
5. Also, concerning future updates, we've got a public roadmap where users like you suggest features which shapes our future development.
The roadmap has been available since January: https://feed.onlysocial.io/roadmap/en
We are continuously improving the platform and will strive to keep it competitive. We aim to make OnlySocial the only platform you need for social media management.
Thank you.
