The good - easy quote system and friendly customer service. Nice contractors. The bad - Hired based on their *expertise* in Elfa shelving closet systems. I have a big office space that needed 2 shelving units installed. The two people they sent knew NOTHING about the closet system. They took over 2 hours to unpack things and then left for almost an hour to get a ladder and a drill. I thought they were just going to the car, but I think they went to the hardware store. Then I saw them watching how-to videos the whole time. They didn't start installing until maybe 3 1/2 hours later. After 5 hours and barely anything done, I asked them to wrap it up. Now I am stuck with a huge mess and incomplete wall of half shelving. This company charges a full fee a few days before the work, but they did refund everything except for a couple hours of work. The installer admitted he didn't know how to do this kind of install and should have turned the job down.

I spent a lot of time completing the request, filing in pages of details. I received a notice that they received my request. The response stated that I would “probably” receive a quote within 24 hours. 96 hours later no response. I sent an email asking what was going on…no response. Since there is no person to person contact…wonder what this company is really doing.

Worst hire I have ever made in my life. I recently hired On point Assembly to assemble a gazebo. They claim their service is efficient and that each item is handled carefully, however, neither of these things were true. The service started off well enough. The “specialists” were very friendly guys and seemed to be working hard throughout the day. I’d check in once in a while to see how things were going and they seemed to be going ok. As the day got later, I started to feel that they may not be able to finish before it got too dark, but they said they were almost finished and just had to put the roof on. At about 7:45 PM (they started at 10am), they said they had one step left, but I noticed there were 4 pieces of wood just sitting out. I asked them what they were for and they claimed they were extra pieces. It took me 2 minutes of looking at the instructions to determine what the pieces of wood were for. They were critical support pieces for the roof. Needless to say, they were not going to finish and said they’d come back the next day. When they left, I wanted to take a look at what had been done and I was appalled. Posts were crooked (I had mentioned multiple times throughout the day and they kept saying they’d be fixed when they were done). For the posts to be fixed, they would have to take several pieces apart so how can they be fixed when done? There were big cracks in the wood, holes drilled through the roof because they didn’t follow instructions, rogue screws protruding out of the wood where there were no pre-cut holes and many other items that indicated really poor craftsmanship. I reached out to the “support” line and asked them to notify whoever was coming the next day of all the items I needed addressed and they indicated they would make every effort to make it right. The morning comes and ONE GUY shows up. I told him what the issues were and he said he couldn’t fix them, would need to take the roof off, etc. He agreed that what they had done looked terrible and said he’d come back later with more people to help fix it. No one ever came back and I was told I’d have to wait until next week to have them work on attempting to fix the gazebo. So not only was the work done horribly, but I would have to wait a week for them to even complete what they had started. The work area was a mess and there were screws everywhere. And they also claim that they clean up!! Anyway, I would never recommend this company to anyone for any job. It was one of the worst experiences I’ve had with a business in my life.
