I ordered silver lozenges not told packaging was different and each lozenges did not contain the same amount of silver that the previous orders had contained. The staff was not cordial or receptive of my responses just kept trying to defend the product. Something has changed with the company it seems.

Lady who works at the office is SO RUDE! So un-accommodating, and does not give you the time of day. Literally WORST customer service and I will no longer be purchasing products from them! Unbelievable!

I requested the FREE OPTIVIDA HEALTH COMPLETE ESSENTIALS 3-DAY SAMPLE PACK which was promptly sent to me. I thought that this would be a good sample to try since I don’t eat many vegetables and this would be a good supplement if I enjoyed the sample. The sample that came had an expiration date of April 2021 and we are in April 2021 but figured that it would be okay to take it. First off the taste was not so great but thought, “it’s not too great but can deal with it if it means getting a full serving of vegetables/fruit.” Not long after I began feeling dizzy, my blood pressure dropped and had heart palpitations. I’m glad this was a sample and not an actual full size product because I would want my money back. It took a few hours for me to feel better. I’m healthy and a 35 years old so I there’s no reason for me to have felt that way. Certainly do not recommend it ☹️ at all. I would much rather just incorporate more vegetables in my diet rather deal with these side effects. Also, it would be great if your company would send samples that haven’t expired or on the verge of expiring. I’m assuming that a date of April 2021 means that it expires on April 30, 2021 but maybe it’s by April 1 and it’s no longer at its peak quality which is why I fell ill.

First, we were alarmed and sorry to hear that you had a health reaction. We hope that you discontinued using the product as soon as you had the reaction. This is not a new or untested product. In fact, we have sold tens of thousands of this product over many years. We have never had a report of health issues as a result of using Complete Essentials. However, with your comments we immediately contacted our nutrition and health advisors. They reviewed your comments and have given us this response: “This type of reaction would be extremely rare. lt could possibly be an allergic response to an ingredient in Complete Essentials. There are over 100 ingredients in the product, all vetted and tested before and after they are combined. There are no stimulants, no depressants, and no allergens used in Complete Essentials. The ingredients in Complete Essentials are fruits, vegetables, enzymes and probiotics, all chosen for safety and purity. It does not contain chemicals, synthetic compounds, or any known allergen. “Regarding the date on the product package. The date is a “best by” date meaning that the ingredients are at their maximum potency at that time. The “best by” date pertains exclusively to the enzymes and probiotics in the product. As time passes the enzymes and probiotics do not become toxic or dangerous. Instead, they become less effective. Even with the reduced effectiveness, the product can be safely used for many months beyond the “best by” date. The remaining ingredients have been tested to be potent for a minimum of an additional year beyond the best by date. There is no likelihood that the reaction reported would be caused by the age of the product.” Please know that we take your comments seriously. I had a standing order for two products that were to be shipped at the same time. Optivida chose to mail each product separately, causing me to have to pay nearly twice the amount of postage and handling. My account will be deleted soon.

Hello Frank, I read your review. I am sorry that you had a bad situation with the shipping on your subscription orders. I know that by now you probably received a phone call and an email from our customer service manager. She discovered that because of an error, you had two separate subscription orders. That's why you had two separate charges for shipping. She issued you a refund for the shipping. She also combined the two subscription orders into a single order. You won't have double shipping any longer. We appreciate your loyalty, so we included a coupon for a discount on future orders. Please let us know if you have any other issues.
