When I first saw this magazine, I thought it would be great for my grandkids, ages 16,14,12 in one family and 11 and 9 in the other. I gave subscriptions to both families as well as myself and now I facetime with both once an month to discuss the current issue. We cover most of the articles and I try to bring in my own experiences. It has been a wonderful way to keep in touch with them as I live in Oregon and they are in Arizona. A big reason I wanted to do this is 4 of the 5 are girls and I wanted to expose them to STEM type education. It has been a educational experience for them as well as myself. I've recommended the magazine to friends who have children in this age group also. Thank you for a great magazine and NO ADS!!

The magazines are educational and fun and are great for long roadtrips/flights. They give you cool facts and tidbits great for sharing with friends!

Excellent magazine for curious, intelligent kids! The best one out there by a mile. So well written and researched, covering a wide array of interesting topics! Our 12 yo son loves it. My husband and I regularly read it too! We keep the issues for a long time since we’re not able to read it all before the next issue arrives. One of our favorite magazines!!

I like that the perspective comes from an international group of writers so the article vary in topic quite a lot. The writing is well done and the topics are interesting and informative. I use the magazine in my science classroom for students to read. They enjoy the articles, as well!

Oyla is packed full of intriguing information and beautiful visuals. My kids started to read it when they were about 10 years old, but I think it would be well received by teens (and adults since I love it myself) all the same. We’ve tried many magazines and this is the only one my kids consistently read cover to cover and enjoy. It’s not just for science/stem audiences, but anyone who is curious about the world which is probably pretty much everyone. Worth every penny, try it now, you won’t regret it!!

The best magazine for children and anyone who is curious about science. The breadth of information this magazine provides is mind boggling. Highly recommend to every family.

This is the third time I have renewed this subscription for my granddaughter who is now 16. She reads it cover to cover every month and enjoys all the topics!
