After reviewing your order, I can confirm that it shipped the same day it was placed via UPS, and a shipping confirmation email with tracking information was sent to you. When you contacted us, we advised that the package had already left our facility and was actively in transit. Once a package leaves our warehouse, delivery is managed by the carrier, and unfortunately, there are times when delays can occur due to circumstances outside of our control, including weather, traffic, carrier volume, transportation issues, or other unexpected UPS delays. While we cannot control the carrier's transit times, we do everything we can on our end to ensure orders are processed quickly and shipped safely. According to the tracking information, your package was delivered on the 10th using the same tracking number provided at shipment. We are glad that you received your parts and regret that the carrier delay impacted your experience. Hello, Thank you for your feedback. We do stock thousands of items in our warehouse and ship a significant number of orders directly from inventory every day. However, due to the size of the marine industry catalog and the number of OEM parts available, some items are sourced directly from manufacturer or distributor warehouses when they are not stocked locally. Your order fell into that category, which is why additional supplier handling and transfer time was involved before USPS received the package. We understand the frustration with the delay and apologize for the inconvenience. Regarding the cancellation request, by the time it was received the order had already been processed through the supplier fulfillment chain and could no longer be stopped. While we understand your disappointment, the order was already in motion at that stage. We appreciate the feedback and the opportunity to clarify the process.

Hello Bryan, Thank you for reaching out, and I’m sorry for the frustration and delay with your order. Due to our shipping volume, USPS and our carriers pick up orders from us in bulk—often by the pallet. Once these shipments arrive at the carrier facility, they are processed through automated conveyor systems rather than individually scanned at each step. Because of this, it can sometimes appear that a package hasn’t moved, or that tracking is stalled at “label created / awaiting item,” even while it is physically in transit. In some cases, initial scans are missed and then update all at once once the shipment is fully processed. That said, I’ve checked your order and I’m not seeing any meaningful movement in the system. To avoid any further delay, I am going to reship your item. If the original package does arrive after the replacement, please feel free to keep it or discard it—no need to return it. We appreciate your patience and apologize again for the inconvenience.

I understand how frustrating it is to be given an expected lead time and then not receive a timely update—especially when it results in you having to call in to find out the status. That is not the level of communication we strive to provide. In this case, it appears there was a breakdown in communication regarding the availability of the Yamaha heads, and we should have notified you as soon as that information was confirmed.
