About Mike Gonzalez
Former MMA champion guiding leaders, founders, and entrepreneurs from forcing to flow. High performers struggle with the invisible toll of constant forcing, putting out fires, clenching through decisions, and running endless mental background tabs that make it impossible to unplug at home. Drawing from my professional competition background and over a decade of private advisory, I help you drop the weight so you can trust yourself under pressure, make decisive calls without second-guessing, and operate with self-mastery. Through 1-on-1 private sessions, we dismantle the internal armor to restore undivided presence and clear command. If you are ready to shift out of forcing mode, apply for private sessions through my website link.

Mike
Mike is a longtime friend and teammate I’ve spent countless hours training and fighting alongside. Through forging a bond that will last a lifetime, we’ve shared a wealth of conversations and insights. Over time, Mike became a confidant, advisor, coach, and even a therapist to me. While he was an essential training partner who constantly pushed me to work harder, our biggest breakthroughs came through the mental work. Our conversations were instrumental in helping me navigate everything from negative mindsets and personal loss to the complex emotions of a pre-fight build-up, and even challenging the self-imposed limits I’d placed on my own potential. None of this would have been possible without Mike’s deep introspection and his ability to navigate the hardest conversations. I highly recommend him to anyone ready to do the work required to truly change their direction.

Rome wasn’t built in a day
What makes him effective as a life coach is his ability to help you step back, gain clarity, and move forward with purpose and confidence.
He creates an environment where you feel supported but also challenged to be honest with yourself and take responsibility for your progress. His guidance is practical, grounded, and focused on helping you build consistency, resilience, and direction in your life.
Beyond being a mentor to me in Jiu-Jitsu, he’s someone who genuinely cares about helping others become stronger mentally, more focused, and more intentional in how they live. I highly recommend working with him if you’re looking for real growth and accountability.

Mike is extremely committed to help people become a better "version " of themselves with his unique techniques that I've never experienced!
Mike is extremely committed to help people become a "better version of themselves ", with a very unique technique that I've never experienced. He really listens to you and focuses on how to help you not only personally, but professionally. He does not give the "typical commercial everyday advice"! He takes the time and attention necessary to help each individual with their personal and/professional concerns and/or struggles and guides people to overcome them and to be a better "version" of themselves! He's truly committed to people's success! He's definitely one of a kind!!! He's not only a personal life coach, but a friend and an AMAZING supporter!! I HIGHLY recommend him!!!

He actually lives this stuff...
I've been working with Mike for about three years now, and honestly, it's been one of the more meaningful things I've done for myself.
What makes him different is hard to explain, but I'll try. He actually sees you, not just the polished version you bring to a session, but the patterns underneath. Most coaches stay in your head with you. Mike works at a different level. He calls it embodiment, and I'd kind of roll my eyes at that word before I experienced what he means by it.
His background in MMA and BJJ isn't just a bio detail. You feel it in the room. There's a groundedness to how he holds space, a kind of quiet intensity that makes you trust the process even when it's uncomfortable. He's not someone who talks about presence and then checks his phone. He actually lives this stuff.
I came in having already done a lot of the "work." Read the books, understood the frameworks, had the insights. But I kept noticing this gap between what I knew and how I actually showed up, under pressure, in relationships, in my own head. That's the gap Mike works in. Not by giving you more to think about, but by helping you get out of your thinking and back into yourself.
Three years later, I'm calmer in ways that aren't performance. My intuition is sharper. I handle things that used to knock me sideways differently now, not because I have better strategies, but because something internal actually shifted.
If you've already put in real work on yourself and feel like there's still something missing in how it all lands day-to-day, Mike is the person I'd point you to. Genuinely.
