I don't understand the point of the…
I don't understand the point of the test. This company charges a fortunate for a "specialized test" which they give you your results for, but there is not consultation, explanation, or anything else shared with you to help you understand the results. I am not a doctor nor am I a bacteria expert, therefore the results of this test are useless.

The experience with the actual company…
The experience with the actual company was not bad, BUT the test I had done will cost me $249 out of pocket because my insurance does not cover it. Now you have to remember to ask your doctor what company they are using for testing so you can determine whether or not the test will be covered. It appears this company has had previous complaints of not being covered by insurance companies.

We are fully covered by Traditional Medicare Part B, and we continue to actively work with insurance providers to expand coverage and help our patients receive the benefits they deserve. Insurance coverage is an ongoing process that involves extensive review and negotiation. While we continually work to expand coverage options, many insurance companies are slow to adopt or approve newer, advanced testing, which can make obtaining coverage challenging despite its clinical value.

The service was prompt and all…
The service was prompt and all questions were answered. They have a new website for patients and the kits are not all listed. They lack intelligence in regards to sex. During the order process, they ask, sex assigned at birth. There are no fairies running around and waving their wand "assigning sexes" when a child is born.

I scheduled an peer meeting concerning my results and no one called me. I scheduled another call hopefully someone will call this time. I love the fact that the results came back fast. I would love to update my review to 5 stars.

Not trans friendly :/
I thought i read on the website that this was a California based company but my package came from Florida. Had i known this company had labs in Florida and Texas i would have gone with a different company because, not to say everyone there is transphobic but the person that emailed me back is. My name is typically male but I put female for my sex for accurate results. I had to email customer service and instead of using my name, Marlon Gonzalez refers to me as "Mrs. Lastname." This person just assumed I'm married and referred me as Mrs. This is highly disrespectful, don't assume people are married #1. #2 Just use peoples name. Trans people do exist and we deserve medical care just like everyone else. Next time I will go to planned parenthood. The test might be more invasive but at least they aren't disrespectful. But thank Mrs. Marlon Gonzalez for the negative review.
