It put my mind to rest having a vet on call without the expense of an emergency vet visit. I got some good advice and my little girl was better about an hour later.

The vet I spoke with spent alot of time with me. I felt she was really trying to formulate a plan for my kitty. With the info given and recommendations on ways to treat I felt extremely satisfied with the outcome and our conversation!!

I was really worried about my dog throwing up. But once I chatted with Dr. Cris I felt so much better! I truly did not know if I should be taking the pup to emergency hospital, but Dr. Cris walked me through some things to check and turned out Buddy was ok. He probably ate something off the floor (I have a 3 year old so that is 100% possible). I followed Dr. Cris’ advice and 12 hours later Buddy was OK! I loved how easy it was to reach a vet professional at a very late hour (11 PM!!). I felt good after our chat. I’m glad I did this!

The only reason I still have an active membership here is bc I accidentally auto renewed it. They are very short and snippy and kind of rude— if I’m being honest. They make you feel kind of dumb when you ask them questions, unlike other virtual vets I have used that are super kind and seem to actually care about my dog. Last month, she had to have emergency surgery and I only took her in because another virtual vet told me that it was absolutely an emergency! Pawp just said “yeah it’s probably an emergency” nonchalantly and didn’t really make me feel that worried that it was an emergency. I just don’t like how they feel cold in conversing with them when other apps have people that talk very warmly. When I’m worried about my dog I don’t want to talk to someone that’s being cold and acting like they are better than me, like I am a dumb dog mom that doesn’t take care of my dog. But I accidentally renewed my subscription so I guess I’ll be keeping it so I can use the emergency fund oh well

My Ozzy fell ill suddenly and the vet tech was helpful and prompt in her help and evaluation of the situation. She told me she believed he needed emergency help and ultimately he did. Unfortunately his situation was too bad to help we needed euthanasia. Pawp accessed his vet paperwork and paid me in less than a week.

I love the ease of being able to speak with someone right away. It is nice to reach out and have an immediate response. Suggestions would be having a few designated clinics in each city for in person (pet) visits, and an option to have a non-emergency fund available.

I decided to utilize Pawp because I thought there would be less friction. I simply needed to order my pets flea meds. Well now its been over a month. Pawp still has not shipped the meds and my actual vet won't fill the perception direct to me because it was already approved for Pawp. Pawp has made no progress in the last few weeks. I'm messaging support every few days and they never have any updates. Again its been over 30 days, that's 160 working hours that they had to simply get this resolved but they still have not. Its a pretty simple process to get a flea med filled, now my vet won't refill for 3 months because that's the timeline for the next prescriptions. Not a great experience and it truly seems like whoever is in charge to resolve this has not done anything. Edit to reply to their Pawps response. My vet had no records of Pawp reaching out for follow up. They even sent me the sign rx form that was sent to Pawps pharmacy. Not sure how it was possible for me to speak directly with the pharmacy every time I called my vet but Pawp could not for an entire month, seems unusual. I had to call my vet numerous times and prove Pawp did not fulfill the Rx in order to get my vet to fill it for me directly. Which delayed my ability to give my pup the meds. If Pawp’s goal is to offer convenience there’s a lot of work that has to be done. It shouldn’t take 30 days to fill a simple prescription.

This emergency pet insurance is amazing and worth every penny! My dog has epilepsy and one day she started walking in circles and head pressing up against the furniture and I knew those were not good signs so I called Pawp and they told me to take her to the E.R so I did and the Dr said she needed a CT scan , Pawp paid for the entire visit $1,500 within 5 minutes of them discharging my dog! It was that fast and easy, I recommend them to everyone I know who owns pets! Thank you Pawp !
