I really like this app. It’s like a comprehensive pet tracker! Provides suggesting for pet health and quick connection with vets to address pet concerns

Calling it a comprehensive pet tracker is exactly the kind of framing we love hearing. Glad to know it's landing that way for you and your pet.

I have had PAWP emergency pet insurance for my cat and until now was satisfied with their premise: they covered up to 3k a year for an emergency. This past June my cat became ill, I phoned in to Pawp and spoke with their Vet on call. She advised that I bring the cat to the ER since she was constipated d and throwing up for a few days. I took a screen shot of the text message of the vet telling me she saw this as an emergency, I submitted the claim for almost 2k and it was rejected/ PAWP claimed that the adjuster did not think constipation was an emergency- if this is the case, why bother having customers discuss and make emergency decisions with the Pawp vets first? I will no longer use this company since I no longer trust their process of determining an emergency for my pets I added additional information and reapplied for coverage and it was denied. Pawp should not have professional vets on the line advising you to take your pet to an Emergency Vet clinic and then deny it us an emergency! I can’t support a company that you cannot trust! I did file an appeal and was told that the adjusters did not deem it an emergency despite your own vets telling me it is and to take her to an Emergency vet immediately. The Emergency Clinic gave their phone number for your adjuster to reach out however they did not before denying my appeal.

We are sorry to hear so, that's a rough stretch for your cat, and a denied claim on top of it stings. Worth knowing: if you haven't filed an appeal yet, you can. Any clinic records or notes that weren't part of the original submission can be added. Send them to [email protected] and we'll get the appeal request in front of the adjusters.

Now that was a terrific Vet experience. Very professional, friendly and understanding. Filled my prescription and I’m good to go. No going to my regular Vet with all the high costs just for a prescription for fleas and ticks. Thank you Pawp. Highly recommend!

Professional, friendly, understanding, and you walked away with what you needed, no extra trip required. Skipping those high costs for something as routine as flea and tick meds is a win, and we're glad Pawp could be the easier route this time.

this app has helped me three times now in amazing ways I would give it 10 out of five stars if I could it’s truly such a wonderful app especially if you have a dog that is scared of the vet or a dog that is throwing up and would be too hard to get to the vet plus this app gives you the ability to use it with your Walmart plus for free if you have it or it’s open 24 seven which gives you peace of mind because emergency vets are extremely expensive this is amazing

Ten out of five is a review we'll take. Three times through and still landing like this says something, especially for the tough cases, the scares that would've meant a frantic drive otherwise. Having it tucked into Walmart+ and available around the clock is exactly the kind of safety net it's meant to be, and hearing it's made a real difference for you and your dog is what makes this worth doing. Thank you for sharing.

Was very infromative and thorough with the questions I had regarding my cats health. Was able to give me peace of mind in knowing if I needed medical services asap or able to wait till my cats vet date.

Knowing whether something can wait for the regular appointment or needs attention right now is half the battle with cats, since they hide so much. Sounds like the questions got sorted out, which is what those chats are for. Since you landed on four stars though, we're curious what the fifth one would have taken. If there's something you wish had gone differently, send it to [email protected] and we'll take a look.

I was able to attach a video of my dog and the vet was able to give me a few ideas of what it might be and recommended an in person vet visit. The information given was very detailed and helpful.

Sounds like you got a clear read on things and solid direction on next steps, in-person visit included. Glad the detail was there when you needed it.
