PetflowReviews of petflow.com

I ordered a Large carrier for pets up to 20lbs. My cat weighs in at 16lbs and barely fits. He can't turn around in the carrier which will make our upcoming 11 hour car ride miserable for him. I took off all the labels and pitched out the box because I assumed it would fit. Now...days after getting it, I'm VERY disappointed.

After receiving my order I noticed that 5 items were missing. I called and asked if the were back ordered and were coming separately or what because there was no invoice or letter telling me why part of my order was missing. The woman I spoke with was very nice, however, even she didn't know exactly why all of my order hadn't come. I'm not sure if this is typical of this company, but I'd keep track of what you ordered and compare it when it actually arrives.

I used to love Petflow but this move in your own interest of wanting feedback by making the process harder for the consumer led me to move ALL my auto ship to Pet Food Direct!

I received a very tempting offer from PetFlow for dog food. I have always hesitated to buy his food online, but this deal was too good to pass up.. I placed the order on Jan 2 just before weather holocaust hit the region. I was not able to track the order online as FedEx just kept updating the site with" severe weather delays will cause us to be down from 24-72 hours". Finally I was getting N/A when I entered the tracking number into the computer. So I emailed customer support at PetFlow. I was still getting other orders from UPS and USPS once our drive got plowed out.. These orders were placed after the dog food order no less. The rep from PetFlow gave me a laundry list of excuses why the order 1) could not be tracked and 2) could not be delivered. The weather,,, only 5 business days had passed, etc. etc. I had to buy a small bag to tide me over and was about to go get another bag from the local pet food supplier when the PetFlow order finally came.. the thing that irked me the most was that I never heard back from PetFlow when I told them I would not be buying food or anything else for that matter from them again. It is all about the customer service duh... Our local pet food store has 10% discount for seniors every Wednesday. Not the deal from PetFlow, but at least I have it and it is supporting a local business. So that is it, yep the weather was bad. We were out of power for 5 days... We then got 18 inches of snow the next week... You don't make excuses about why you can't deliver a product. You should be ahead of the problem and let the customers know you realize you have let them down, are sorry and can we please give you a discount on your next order.. I am also a nervous nelly about buying food online and this just proved me right.

My order got delayed. Pet Flow blamed Fed Ex. Fed Ex blamed Pet Flow. Two weeks later it turns out it never left Pet Flow facility...

First Oder took 2 days to deliver. I reordered and it took 7 days.....so disappointed.

Just before the holidays my daughter explained that she was broke and running out of food for her pets so on December 20, 2013, I placed an order expecting it to arrive within a week as has been past practice. I dropped by on the 5th of January and found the food had never arrived. I felt AWFUL so say the least. She had borrowed money from a neighbor and bought enough to sustain for another week or so. Of course I went directly to the nearest pet store and paid WAY TOO MUCH for the same products I'd ordered. Thanks for the savings PetFlow. I placed a call to PetFlow and was told that they were sorry, etc. There had been a delay because they were out of the product at that time. PETFLOW COULD HAVE CONTACTED ME!!!!!!!!! And that's that.

I have purchased my dog food for 13 months from petflow, their orders were fast and I liked that. Their website was always annoying, trying to get you to set up a recurring order and changing the ways at check out to trick you into an auto renew. I had received a order of dog food that was not vacuumed sealed. This happened once about 2 months ago and I was told to donate to a shelter and petflow sent me another. This happened again and I was "assured" it left their factory vacuumed sealed and it must have been damaged in shipping and I should just use the bag of food. I explained to petflow that my dog is sensitive and that's why I purchase 80 dollars a bag dog food, which I purchase 3 times a month and I would like the bag of food replaced. They flat out refused to replace it repeating that the food was good. I then asked to return the food, which they finally agreed for a cost to me of 9 dollars for shipping. That was my last order with petflow, I now use a locally owned business to buy my dog food and I can see the product before buying it to ensure it is vacuumed sealed. If you can I would recommend supporting your local business. If you are stuck with this service due to where you live, then just be ware. I have seen the service level decline with petflow over the past 13 months, especially the last 2 months.
