This is what happens when you try to cancel a Pictory API subscription.
They don't allow you to cancel and try to force you on a call with someone.
Guess I will just chargeback the last 6 months of payments rather than just cancel quietly.
EDIT: They have since changed how this works, or so they say.

I messaged them about the Arabic text…
I messaged them about the Arabic text not aligned in scenes, but they didn’t reply. They don’t seem to care about their customers.
Update: I am updating my previous review regarding unresponsive support. I discovered that their support team did actually reply to my ticket promptly, but the email was lost due to a broken forwarding rule on my end. I appreciate Lis and Rae for diligently following up.
However, the core technical issue is still unresolved. There is a system-wide bug with how the platform handles right-to-left Arabic text alignment. It breaks the formatting on every video I try to generate. Their team is currently investigating the issue, and I will update my rating again once the platform can reliably process Arabic text.

I would like to see the possibility to use prompts for AI…
I would like to see the possibility to give prompts to AI within the program as still pictures to turn into videos, as not all standard visuals are suitable.

From what you described, it sounds like you would like to use prompts to generate still images with AI and then turn those images into videos inside Pictory, especially when the standard visuals are not a good fit. Did I understand your idea correctly?
The reason I ask is because we currently have a feature called AI Studio that allows you to generate visuals with AI, which sounds very similar to what you are describing. It may be that this feature is not visible in your account or that you are using a different workflow.

I like the overall video Editing style but changing the scene makes me irritating that is very Bad. I think that must be improved and scenes about Crimes and related to these and scenes on black people is very less in scenes library

The voices and the videos can be so much better now, but I feel like pictory hasn't made much improvements compared to whats really out there. You have the potential to really disrupt the market, so why don't you?

My personal review after using pictory ai
I've been using pictory from 4 months to make faceless videos. In being I faced many issues with this tool to make high quality visuals and voiceovers and sometimes it took so much time to load files. However, after a month I saw some improvement in voiceovers and visuals. But still videos I wanted to generate was not satisfying and convincing. So i didn't continued upgrading further.

Bad Experience
Update: The customer service contacted me and offered a full refund.
So I raised of 2 stars thanks for the customer service.
I don't know if they sorted the issue as I wanted to loose other time behind that.
Bad Experience
I subscribed for one month and started creating videos. After a couple of videos, I encountered a technical issue. The video preview in the storyboard was completely dark, and even when previewing the video, it remained dark, making it impossible to create any content, cut scenes, etc.
I tried to fix the issue by changing videos and checking online for solutions, but nothing worked, so I contacted customer support. Unfortunately, I was effectively abandoned twice. With a monthly subscription, waiting more than two days for support is unacceptable.
On 26/12, I contacted customer support.
On 02/01, Dhruv replied by email, asking me to confirm which project had the issue. I replied the same day.
On 09/01, after receiving no answer or solution and being under pressure to create videos for my work, I contacted customer support again. Rae replied the same day, asking me to share one of the videos affected by the issue, which I did.
On 16/01, having received no response at all, I decided to cancel the subscription.
I have to say that the library of voices and visuals is nice. The platform does have some limitations, but honestly, these would be very easy to avoid or improve.
If you never face any issues and only want to create videos using pre-made visuals and AI, it might work for you.
But if you do run into a problem, good luck.
For me, $49 thrown in the bin.
